Hmmm, advising someone to commit suicide? That's something I don't see everyday.

I've already told you, the plane was not acquired for pleasure. The plane is for the purpose of preaching the gospel. If he didn't travel a lot do you think he would acquired the plane?

If only people would actually engage in peaceful discussions without the need to insult and call names, I'm sure we'd be able to get somewhere.

I have serious concerns for the depletion of the world's natural resources due to the budgoening world population. It is time to act and best to act using self-implemented eugenics.

Lets save our planet.

Your brain is worth nothing to humanity.

You must be having a fcking laugh.

Discussions with who?

You think I have time to waste?

Look, I am very good at spotting dumb people and assessing which has a salvageable brain and which does not. I am not going to waste my time on the latter.

I should have a "discussion" with someone so daaaaaaaaaaaaft as to compare artiste spending their money on luxuries to a pastor spending congression's money on luxuries?

I am not a retard, mate.

He travels a lot?

How many times a month does he travel that he needs a $36m plane?

And the mansions and cars? Did your daft brain not see the ride used to pick up that fraud called Benny Hinn to drive from Helicopter to podium in the clip I posted earlier?

A Hummer!!!

I bet your daft, moronic arse will come with some excuse that will raise my BP.

I can understand the helicopter to beat traffic, but the Hummer shows they regard your likes as morons, which most of you are, as they spend your money extravagantly.

Explain to me how many times a month Oyethief travels that he needs a $36m luxury private jet.

Then explain to me how much it will cost to fly 20 people first class on BA or Virgin to the same places. And tell me which makes financial sense and also meets requirements.
Re: Pastor In Private Jet. Life Is Beautiful! by Chuksxp: 5:11pm On Aug 31, 2010
Your prideful tone speaks of the kind of person you are. Always remember that pride comes before a fall. And for someone who's accusing pastors of extravagant spending, your sense of value is a bit distorted; you seem to get so frustrated over material things, but have no value for human life. You should know that no matter how uneducated and non-contributing to society that poor child in Sudan may be, his life is nonetheless as precious as the most intelligent person in the world.

"Explain to me how many times a month, travels that he needs a $36m luxury private jet"
"Then explain to me how much it will cost to fly 20 people first class on BA or Virgin to the same places. And tell me which makes financial sense and also meets requirements."

You really need to know that most pastors travel like a million times each year. Concerning Pastor Oyedepo, who of course doesn't travel alone, times that first class by fifteen years and tell me which is better.

Like I said earlier, humans tend to complain a lot. What else can we expect from such a fallen world as this? Our focus always goes to the negative; we look at others with suspicion and condemnation, but look at our selves through rose-coloured glasses.

You focus so much on what this or that pastor drives, wears, etc, but you never look at the good they do. You never commend them for helping and feeding the hungry, providing medical help to the sick, etc.

And while you're here ranting, tell me how much you're given to charity lately, how many times you've travelled to some of these poor places to help the poor there, how often you've visited the orphans, the abused, the sick, etc.

Artistes are selling you products, they are in business.

You are cretin!

Should pastors be selling you prayers?

You seem confused.

How does being frustrated over material things relate to value for human life? It does not rhyme at all.

And who talked about uneducated? I talked about idiocy. Completely different from uneducated.

Chuksxp:

I will say it again: You really are a cretin!

Oh, amsorry, did I break your concentration?

I didn't mean to do that, please continue.

You were saying something about a pastor travels a million times a year?

Really? They travel every second of the day?

Oh, allow me to retort: What the fck do I look like to you?

Do I look like a biitch?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPHuE5pDlEs&feature=related

You want to feed me crap?

You foooool. The plane normally carries about 19 passengers. I dash you 20. The thieving pastor I bet cannot travel more than once every 2 weeks on average over the year, I can bet you (i.e. lets say he abandons his local congression once every 2 weeks). Do not feed me crap like a biitch.

Lets dash him that he has entourage of 20 that MUST follow him. Calculate how much it will cost to fly them first class, that is fly ALL of them 20, not only millionaire pastor in first class, no seconds. Lets say due to poor planning, it cost $5000 per person maximum, that is $2.4m per year. It will take 15 years to spend as much as $36m to transport them. And remember, yooooooooooou dumb dim sum dimwit, that I am giving worst case scenario of ALL 20 people travelling every 2 weeks with high air prices due to poor planning. It could be far less than the $2.4m.

slowpoke, now look at the cost of the luxurious, ostentacious, flambouyant private jet he is so happy to enjoy with his congression's money.

You put down a cost of $36m to buy (we are not even including any delivery or consultancy cost, you fooool). Did your daft brain think it ends there?

You did not know they will have to hire pilots to fly it? You did not know they will pay airport tax? You did not put in your calculations that it will cost loads to fuel it for each journey? You do not realise they will pay for hanger storage at every destination they go to? You do not know they will have to pay for engineers to check it or repair it if any faults and provide it with air-worthy certification for airports to accept it? And what about the insurance on the jet.

You foooooooooooooool. All that, I can bet will be close (if not taking up) to the $2.4m a year without even discussing the initial $36m cost.

Chuksxp:

Retard, and you can not think how much more can be done for the poor with $36m if pastor did not want to miliki on private jet (one for him, one for his wife), mansion and exotic cars?

Foooooooooooooool! Help us solve the problem your brain is. Self-implemented eugenics!

Very interesting topic. Sagamite, unfortunately we can do very little to change the mindset of mugus. Make God open their eyes to the truth and it shall set them free.

As long as there is poverty in naija and even for abroad people are desperate for changes to their immigration status, marriage, money issue (get rich quick mentality) etc. 'god of MEN' will be smiling all the way to the banks and to their private jets.

Me I do not need any pastor/prophet to pray for miracle for me. I can do it myself!!!!!

No ask me for tithe/seed becos I know go give!

That Sagamite's post is priceless. First time I think I'll condone a post that involves cursing. He took ALL the words out of my mouth and I'm thoroughly satisfied and relieved as though I posted it. Seven gbosas for you man

Believe it or not but Sagamite is more of a friend to you than Oyedepo likely ever will be.

Truth is painful - consider that you're not happy reading what he's telling you. Itching ears is what makes a man see sense in somebody using other people's funds to provide himself and family an exorbitant lifestyle which is exorbitantly exorbitant.

And could you please tell me - what would madam bishop need her own jet for? Going to the market to buy fresh fish for bishop's lunch, perharps? Try justify that one for us please!

Unless he recently upgraded.

Aside of the ^^^, one of the deludees told us, supposedly so we could go "F" ourselves, on another thread that there are plans to buy 2 more - one for the board of trustees and the last maybe as a pool car plane (in case one of the regular 3 has a flat tire, perharps).

But why would you be stunned? Me, I see such as reason to trust the Bible which warned of this coming from the inside out. One day, dem go say "Here come the Judge"

Sagamite, nuclearboy, aletheia,, Some of these guys are so far into these "doctrines" that we can only pray their cases don't become TERMINAL.

The MATH is beyond their grasp because their pastor has to "travel a million times a year" even full time Pilots don't log that kind of millage throughout their professional careers.

Anyone looking for a "quick fix" without doing all the needed leg work deserve to get scammed out of their hard earned cash if they are looking for a miracle without working for one, that's my 2 cents.

Well, Nuke, I'm not sure I know what to say now. All I do wonder is this. Chuksxp I'd bet is one of the smarter ones among the miracle-junkie-zombie ranks. If he is beyond salvage as he seems, the rest (and surely majority) are beyond even miracles. It's a sad sad situation.

^^^ If you want to understand things better, listen a little more to Sunday preachings on your telly. Being a lover the arts, I do listen. There is something insidiously, ruthlessly, horribly efficient about the psychological methods used - tell people what they want (even if they don't need it), reel off examples, repeat it again and again. Now, that's a simple way of putting it.

Lol, MyJoe. I actually used to watch in the old days. But then I used to think the congregation didn't really believe what they were hearing but figure it's their duty to go to church. But now it seems they buy the whole thing, hook, line and sinker.

There are the other types too. The ones who seem honest but they are really nothing but bitter about not being able to get into the act also.

@Sagamite, I do agree with u that these men of god are fake, but I believe u don`t have to be abusive to make your point and to be honest I think u are talking to a brick wall because these people are beyond reason. I have always wondered why we are so religious in Africa beyond reason, my believe is that it`s got to do with our level of development. The average African still believes in the power of some invincible spirit to solve all his problems just like his ancestors. We have a long way to go before we can replace the World of spirits with one of enlightenment but I believe in time we will get there.

It would have been money better spent if these so called men of god took it upon themselves to building low cost housing for their congregation instead of buying themselves private jets costing  $36 million pounds which could have built over 3000  2/3 bed houses and sold to church members at cost plus a little profit,  these can then be reinvested to build more houses and the circle of development can continue until every member as a home. This will not only create jobs but will also create a better life for members. But with everything Nigerian only the top top people must enjoy and the bottom people must suffer.

Heard of Habitat for Humanity or the Fuller centre? The founder is a true example of what a true Christ like person should be like, SETTING UP A CHURCH TO PROVIDE AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR THE POOR.

Watch them, birds of the same feathers flock together they say. Occult members , atheists , satan's worshipers and company, see what their evil and reprobate minds are dishing out. They are grieved in their heart that a MOG is flying a private jet. However they will soon die of heart attack when more and more churches buy their own jet. They can do nothing about it only make noise in this forum. The more they are grieved and talk evil of these MOG the more they are prospering and moving forward.
