The above is the purpose of the blood of Jesus as shown by the bible.
How come christians almost everywhere have turned the blood of Jesus into a battle axe in spiritual warfare
or prayer sessions.

toba mentioned Revelations 12:11 and Hebrew 12:24 as backing for the battle axe issue here.

Rev 12:11
(11)  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Heb 12:24
(24)  And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

Do these verses really say or show that the blood of Jesus is a prayer battle axe?

This issue is very rampant in the church today; praying the blood of Jesus or pleading the blood of Jesus.
I feel this is a very large display of lack of faith in what Christ has already done.
