They should go ahead with the order. People just don't have sense, the aircrafts they ordered are brand new, not old models.
And if Nigerian airlines don't buy brand new aircraft, they'll be the same people that will complain

Nigerians are jus funny in dis country... How many of our airlines can boast of buying brand new aircrafts? Ppl dat have been using leaky aircrafts and century old aircrafts for business and den becos of a plane crash dey are copying others in putting out a statement on d aircraft... Wetin concern agbero with overload
But their old aircrafts never crash before apart from the Dana incident, very few airlines around the world use brand new jets, check it out
As far as a jet is well maintained, it's as good as new

All 737s should be pulled until further notice and thorough investigation tbh
Have you considered what it would cost airlines and governments in taxes?

Lies, only China and one nation did that, there are over 5000 max 8 in active service around the world and over 300 of them flew today to different destinations. Boeing have not made any statement about the aircraft as the bone of contention seems to be pilots not mastering how to fly the plane

Boy where did you school? Ogbomosho grammar school?? I've read that statement 3 freaking times now and I'm yet to find a single mention of the word "rebrand", "rebranding" or any word related. At the very first paragraph, it was clearly stated that an order was placed for "brand new" aircrafts, and you who can barely read and understand is trying so hard to discredit it. Shame on YOU!
why are you wasting your time replying him na

Stop taking brief for Boeing.

The move by British, French and German aviation authorities followed similar decisions on Tuesday by Australia, Singapore and Malaysia to bar the aircraft from their airspace. Some airlines not directly covered by those decisions — including Norwegian Air, one of the Max 8’s biggest customers — took unilateral action to ground their fleet.

From the comments I read on this thread, it is obvious many Nigerians really don't know their left from right except tribal and religious bigotry. Boeing 737 max 8 that every sane country has stop flying until the problem with the aircraft is identified and sorted out some people are here defending it and making it tribal issues again.

oga price of a brand new 737 max 8 passenger version is around 45 billion naira.

air peace can't afford 10 of it at a single order, we have refurbished planes, that what most Nigerian airlines are using.
