Guy, stop being pained by efforts and giant strides done by individuals, channel your anger and energy towards the government that has failed woefully in all aspects, though I am not a winners member but I salute their doggedness in excelling where government have failed.
Nbote:
How many winners members actually afford those? Where would d wretched members relocate to?

Oga I asked d question becos d OP claims members are relocating there and those houses are definitely worth over 100million and I am dead certain U don't have 100 million and d reality on ground is not many members can even afford their rent... U can decide to ignore reality but dats d truth.

I was tempted to insult U but den I realised there's no need to.. If U don't own a house there and making dis statement den d joke is on U

You just nailed it while it is hot, dunno why they cannot direct their vile and venom towards a government that has failed, instead they keep bashing individuals taking over responsibilities which is purely governmental.

What if Oyedepo was just collecting the money and did not build school, or hospital or city. What if he just sat down and ate the church money. You people won't even know the church has money talkless of crying. But he built a university that employs thousands and educates thousands. A city that employs thousands and houses thousands. But let me ask this, our president, Buhari rides private(presidential) jets, lives inside Villa all with the money of Nigeria's poor citizenry. He collects our taxes and drills our oil yet he hasn't dashed us free houses.

He said consult he never said bailout, comprehension is a big problem to some people.
PearlStreet:

Instead of government to receive a single kobo from Churches as bailout, they would pass a single law mandating religious organisations to pay a tax of 49% of gifts received by members.

That's when churches would start following the biblical example of receiving tithes in cassava and palm oil instead of cash.

Lol what are you saying?

What did Jesus say? "In my Father's house there are many Mansions". Even Jesus was enticing Christians/believers to Heaven with materialism. And since the church is Christ embassy on earth should we be living in huts?

What did the bible say again? "The streets of heaven are tarred with gold". We have not tarred an ordinary church property with gold many of you are already crying...

So this is how they brainwashed u to think earth is heaven?I hope u are even qualify to ballot for one of those house then pay thru yur nose.heaven & heavenly mansions are free......those houses are not for free.

Earthly possessions are good but why so much emphasis on them when salvation of the soul is at stake?
Our lives as Christians should reflect the Giver's glory not the gift. What does it profit us if we keep running after God because of earthly possessions rather than truly seeking Him as our Source and Sustainer

Your like will never cease to amaze me, you are just plain judgemental. I attend winners chapel and I can authoritatively say that all the messages whether on deliverance, prosperity, increased spirituality, holiness, all the messages must culminate into the message of Accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour, altar calls must be made every service.
See humans are impossible sometimes, if they can accuse Jesus the son of God of using the power of Beelzebub, how about us his followers.

But Note this: whether you agree of not,the church is marching on and will be the brightest beacon go light in this end time, spiritual wise, prosperity wise and all round. Your opinions are irrelevant

Funny.

But he built the Universities specifically to make profit. Nothing more. Education isn't his priority. He's just a good business man with the presupposed fear of God. Nothing more. He's never done anyone a favour.

Oga shut up.

There are many wretched Winner's members.

God doesn't specifically bless anyone because of their church membership.

Some of you just deify these MOGs and their churches unnecessarily.

And you feel your opinions are relevant because you attend the church? If Rev. Kings members can defend his actions, such as burning people alive, what makes you think you aren't wrongly defending your pastor? Religion is indeed an opium. Everyone feels their position is right, and they see any little criticism as "an attack towards the body of Christ". Lol. The body of Christ is way bigger than Winners. If someone criticises them or even the pastor, it doesn't remove anything.

Where is the fear if God here, in your estimation how many Winners members can afford this property? Without the #100 of the poor, the widow in the Church your #10000000 is not complete.
All I see are criminals without conscience, where is the compassion the Church represent? where is the Love that Christ talked of?

Yes he built the university for profit with the Church members money/seeds and yet they are not worthy of attending it.
Someone that bought shares in a profiting firm as a bank and they paid dividend every year because they are trading with their money how much more the place you call a house of God?

The same people complaining of hunger in the land are same people supporting these criminals because they've been blinded/brainwashed

Pathetic

I disagree. God gave us these things, us, His kids. He didn't create them for satan and his rascals.

Everything in this world is for us. Imagine this world without sin, all these things will still be here, but without sin. Sin did not put these things here, God did.

Oga mi, as for the records, Canaan City is the cheapest housing estate in Africa. Why is that? Church workers and members can pay for the houses over a 30 year installment. The cheapest housing unit is #4M, now divide that with 30 you get #134000 approximately annually. So that's the amount one has to pay annually if he or she is going for a #4M house.

Now let's go with your #100M estimate, divide that with 30, you get approximately #3.4M annually, so that's the amount one pays annually if he or she is going for #100M house.

So tell me, isn't that cheap? which estate in Nigeria or Africa or the World does that?

Going with this Data, Huge/ Large Numbers of LFC Members can afford it and afford it more.

Besides the estate wasn't built for everyone, if one can afford it, then no problem but if one can't then he or she should leave it, go hustle till he or she can afford it, come back and get a house, the Estate will be waiting for them.

#Xavier.
Thank you for educating the clueless, my brother. May you live long.

Now to all the wailers, what do you really want from this man, do you want him to build free kitchen all over the place and spoonfeed every hungry Dick and Harry before letting him be, did you know that most of the Ivy league universities and some other top universities we have in the western world were founded and built by Pastors/Churches, you can vividly see how they have
helped their countries. Did they run it as charity organisations, today they accommodate the best brains from all over the world and mankind is benefiting from their research and knowledge. This same man "OYEDEPO" could as well choose to fritter away funds at his disposal into some unfruitful projects just to play to the gallery and get applauds and thumbs up from people like you,
but he didn't, instead he chose to invest in human capital(future) which we lack in Africa. If I cannot afford to go to any of his schools no problem, let those who have the wherewithal go and advance themselves.
Mind you, I am not a member but have friends that are devout members, I fancy the principles they apply in their everyday financial dealings. Way back, I have a friend, when he told me he wanted to embark on these principles learnt from one of his books, I took it with a pinch of salt, but today, hmmm, I rest my case.

First off, it's offensive to refer to anyone as a wailer. It only presents you as someone with limited intelligence.

Then, you don't built universities on the backs of the poor and make it inaccessible to them. Winners, if I'm not mistaken, generates almost 100million, if not more per Sunday (taking into account tithes too). so in a year that's 1.2bill. What is it used for?

Even his secondary schools charge exorbitant fees. So it's obvious his investments are not run with money from the church, but from what they generate. Of what sense is that? Because, a church is not a private business. It's people that made that man rich, nothing more. Every cent he has is theirs. Imagine if he pumps 500mill every year into his university just so people can pay, say, around N200k per session. Isn't it fair enough then?

The cannancity project is for winners members....both rich and less priviledge......As a registered member having a foundation school certificate, you can apply for any of the 15,000 housing unit in the completed phase 1 of the estate which cut across either 1, 2, 3 bedroom flats/bungalows or a duplex and you have up to 30years to pay up......is not a compulsory instant complete payment....... Google the cannancity project by winners, log in to their website, from their you will get all necessary information.
