What's funeral cover?
Auxtin85:
Lol, that reminds me of what South Africans say about Nigerians here, almost every South African are into funeral cover, they will say you dare not advice your Nigerian friend to go into funeral cover he immediately sees you as a devil who wants him dead

It’s like death insurance kind of, when a person under funeral cover dies, the insurance company takes charge of the funeral by giving the person a befitting burial.

While I understand his apprehension death is a must every household will feel it , but same way they grieve so shall they rejoice with a birth of a new generation wether closely related or far removed. Help me thank the heavens my wife just gave birth to a bouncing baby boy, this is after I lost a very close family member just a few months ago. Gratitude is a must.

Funny.

Just reminds me of days as a kid, was walking past a casket making group with my dad who asked them how biz was going...

One of them quietly replied him, " Oga, na una hand e dey."

I can remember the solemn look on my dads face afterwards.

I dont knw why we are so sentiment in naija. Is death a new thing or a bad thing? Any one of us reading this could die any time even this night or tmr; either in bed or from a car accident. Doesnt that make us all potential customers of casket companies? The surest thing in life is death so face the reality.
