Got to know about Nairaland through my ex.
We were reading an interesting thread one day like that.

When I got home that day, I searched it on Google.

Ever since then, I've been addicted. Not a day goes by without me coming to Nairaland.

Kept viewing as a guest for some time, before I finally signed up.

I think it was when I was looking for admission into University of Abuja and I was in Lagos with nobody in Abuja, bro told me about Nairaland and alas! I eventually had like mind people to relate to... when I got admission, I reciprocated the good will to people looking for admission the next year...

Time registered : October 23, 2009

I think I opened Nairaland and NairaBet at the same time in one cafe at Alhaja Bustop, Ogudu Lagos lol

I discovered it through a Friend's laptop back then in 2007. Those threads that made front page were not like what we have now - they were pretty much informative, educative and captivating. I was a guest for two years before i finally registered in 2009.

Guy stop fooling your self in public, nairaland was created in 2005 not mid to late 2000 undecided

You don't have sense. Mid to late 2000s as relates to year in my post is 2005 to 2010.

We are now in late 2010s.

That you were still crawling by 2010 doesn't mean that people were not on nairaland by then. You are the one fooling yourself.

I wish i never discovered nairaland...discovered it since 2006 and this is probably my 3rd or 4th moniker or account or whatever!!!.
It is now full of imbeciles and illiterates that refuse to educate themselves!!!

Actually, Nairaland is almost a microcosm of the Nigerian internet space. Facebook, Instagram and recently, Twitter. Crazy trolls who'd type the most unintelligent, irrational sentences just for 'likes'.
