If not for cakes and some of these things that must require sugar, I don't use sugar in my house. I have so much adjusted to it that if the only option is with sugar, I will rather not drink at all

Good thing I’m not a huge fan of cake like my DH or I’d be in trouble.

If it’s something that normally uses sugar, I can’t eat without sugar. I do need to retrain my tongue.

Any blender with more than 1500w. If I dey naija now, I will just see mechanic by the corner although DH said that it's not motor problem.
Would have gone for the manual one I posted up there but I read that there are so many fake.

It's my ninja that has problem. A new one for that matter . Haven't used this up to 5 times. So annoying. The type that come with food processor. Will check the oster out.

Come to think of it, The food processor part of my ninja did have a problem too.

DH was doing dishes and left it in the dishwasher with the setting on high heat dry.
So the plastic part that connects to the blade kind of melted (I think) or at least it got weakened and when I tried to unscrew it from the blender base itself, it broke off. I blamed the dishwasher (read DH ). I usually don’t leave any plastic in the washer when the dry setting is on high heat. So we technically broke that part of it, not that it came defective.

But the main square blender and the other double self serve components all work great and since I have a mixer/processor already. I didn’t miss the processor part of the ninja.

Did you buy a protection plan on your ninja? I didn’t and I ended up regretting not buying it. If I’d paid extra $29, they would have replaced it for free. Penny wise pound foolish of me.

Honestly I don’t know if you will be very impressed with the oster. But you never know.

I practically saved more than £360 with some free items worth more than £100. I have noticed that there are particular times in the yr some appliances have serious price drop.

Went for 18/10 stainless steel everything. Aside that one small la cruesant pot I bought, all the pots I met here are only good on the eyes only. 18/10 stock pot exclusively for Nigerian soups and stew but expensive. These ones have 25yrs warranty.
Anytime I'm ready, will grab 2 iron casts and I will rest.
So much buy buy. We are already one yrs here. How time flies. So painful that all these things I have at home, I'm buying them again. Kinda starting afresh. Gave out lots of household appliances and now I'm buying them again.

Oga asked his colleague where he can repair such thing and the man told him to bring it so he can do it for him. He is very good with such stuffs. Problem solved

I’ve ordered something similar to this few times in the past. We call it pho. But it’s a soup rather than a stew.

They have it in the Vietnamese and Thai restaurants, even the Brazilian steakhouses that make food at your table offer this upon request.
And I usually always skip the pork too. Chicken, beef, shrimp etc

The spoons are a bit heavy TBH. So I don’t know how convenient they would be for eating.
But my, do they look great.
