That socalled pastor should be investigated thouroughly. Dont be suprised to find out he is into cross border drug smuggling or weapons smuggling. Or even serving as a love-vendor to those beautiful cameroonian babes who see nigeria as some kind of yankee and are so eager to cross into the country.

You can never see their likes in places like this.

stop saying what you do not know about the priesthood. Your rev fr maybe a diocesan while this priest is an SMA depending on his congregation.
A priest may remain in a parish if his experience or his area of specialisation is needed like building a church, audit,, control of crises in that parish etc.

Some people derive joy sacrificing their growth to see many others grow. If not for the missionaries who came to Nigeria and sacrificed all, most of our parents won't be where they are today. Those missionaries had all the chances to go back and improve themselves but they derived more pleasure improving people.

For some reasons i believe catholics way of worship is ideal for christains...so simple n humble..u find them in the most difficult areas to preach in the world...not some of churches that money driven

I'm not religious, but I have more respect for the Catholic Church. They take in a lot of money, but they serve the community with no hesitation. A priest studies for almost ten years to become a priest. It's not a title any fool can have.

That said, their role in colonialism cannot be ignored.

you de mind that's the issue with humans no one wants to live legacy.... thanks for this comment... I knew a rev father who was principal of St Patrick college in Calabar an Irish man who spent over 4 decades in Nigeria moulding life... he is still a rev father..the day he came to university of Calabar to speak he kept referring to his students who were professors in unical... that's life everyone have their calling
