That's the mistake you're making. There are so many ways these lecturers frustrate different categories of students. Some can organise missing scripts and make sure the person keeps writing the same paper... It's not always about intelligence. But once they mention sexual harassment, what comes to mind is the not so intelligent students, which is not always the case. As a matter of fact, some target the intelligent ones and tag them "proud" or "disrespectful"...

I don't pray for anyone to be a victim of these evil men cos it could be very frustrating.

Ok. But have you heard of them sleeping with 1st class students?

This is absolute nonsense.

Why do we keep ridiculing ourselves before the world always.

All what this so called BBC knows about is to be sharing Nigeria bad side, As if they are saints.

Nothing goes for nothing. if you as a lady decides to trade marks for sex, fine.

Rubbish.

Just stop quoting me with your abnormal views... I wonder how many percentage of students graduate with first class that you're asking me funny irrational questions. Please let it slide cos you obviously don't understand these things. Bye. Pls don't quote me again, thanks.

Ok. But how easy will it be to fail an A+ student? How is he going to cover up that discrepancy?
University is not secondary school, if a lecturer wants to fail you , only God can stop him , their power is almost stupidly absolute.

Very well timed documentary

Because 7 out of all 10 females who graduated from a Nigerian University have given sex for marks.
Either directly to the lecturer or indirectly to a class boyfriend who helps them out with school work.

But they never tell their husbands that part of their lives.
I stand to be corrected.

How did you arrive at 7 out of 10??

Did you carry out a scientific research with facts and figures analyzed to arrive at your ratio?

And Fifty something dumb heads agreed with your fallacy?

Airing the documentary is a welcome development. Aside exposing the he-goats lecturer and putting their job on the line for taking advantage of those under their care, i hope it will bring to light the numerous shameless dog of female students who offer their bodies to lecturers to make up for their academic deficiencies. I only empathise with hardworking students-male or female who re victims of corrupt system. Why wont Nigeria be stagnate when students pay to pass WAEC/NECO and continue the trend in higher institutions?

That's my point. How can you bring down a 1st class student all the way down to a fail? How is he going to do that?

A 3rd class student can be easily failed. Not a high performing student.

You are on point I can't wait for d airing of d documentary I pray any of these heartless hags are featured, they will feel d real harshness from me lol. Thanks dear.

Forcing students to buy their substandard textbooks is very rampant amongst Nigerian University lecturers. Some of the lecturers just come to class and be reading back the nonsense to the students.

It's long overdue. There are countless of stories like this unheard. I have been saying it that most females who graduated with high scores from higher institutions in Nigeria have less in there brain compared to what their certificate says. The same goes for some male who paid through thier academic years for marks. Reason why private university students excel.
Sex for mark is the first version. Am waiting for second version which is cash for marks.
Truth is "our academic institutions in Nigeria is the foundation of corruption" if anybody doubt me, such person should take his or her time to check what is happening in public primary and secondary schools.
There are no bad students, only bad teachers.
Anybody who not comfortable with it should simply watch their darling channels TV. It's not by force to watch BBC.

If a lecturer really mean to sleep with you, there are 80% chances that he will succeed.

Goodnight!

NTA workers are too lazy to make and air documentary on UK stabbings. But hold a sec. The vast majority of UK stabbings are committed by black males.

Please ignore these kids who don't know anything and are repeating how possible is it to fail an A+ student. You just pray that you go through school without any evil or Randy lecturer noticing you.

How many examples can I talk of?

A very powerful lecturer in OAU department of building brought a girl on second class upper all the way down to 3rd class with one 4 unit course. After 3 years of repeating the same second semester course, she abandoned the degree and went abroad.

If her family could not afford to send her abroad, what do you think she would have done?

Many students are fighting private battles they dare not tell anyone about, because most lecturers have student pets that give them info. They just go to the dept. Board year after year and see F.

They know what they wrote, but if they request for their script, the script will disappear, even your class adviser will advice you to just quietly retake the course instead causing ripples that will reverberate all the way to the faculty level and make other lecturers victimize you.

Sometimes your crime may be as simple as affiliating with a lecturer from an opposite faction of the dept. See enh?! Nigerian academia is like a cult, just pray to go thru without any lecturer setting out to deal with you
