We still have a long way to go, Netherlands is half the size of Niger state, they make $100b annually from agriculture. This means that Niger state has a capacity of $200b if agriculture resources are developed. I strongly believe that in four years with the right equipments Niger state can make $2b annually. Can you imagine osun state being the headquarters of sheabutter in the world or Anambra the world largest producer of oil palm. Our governors are mentally lazy that's just the truth, as a governor they can create agriculture reserved areas with offices were farmers can lease fertilizer, tractors, pesticides, drip tech equipments. The Government can set up a company to buy the produce from the farmers sell and make a profit. There are other ideas like tech zones and manufacturing zones the possibilities are endless, all this going to Abuja for survival is not sustainable.

What is happening to Ogun state? Could it be because of the change of government from Amosun to Abiodun that affected them like this. Their IGR should be more than this coz that state got a lot of prospect that can be harnessed. Anyway there is still time for growth. Abiodun should start working and he should make sure the IGR translates to real growth to the people.

Osun is really trying tbh and Ondo is upping their game as usual.

Delta State is making Progress but should put more effort so that individual too/business people who are not paying tax to start paying their tax by putting check and balances.

By now Delta State should be generating over Hundred Billion Naira Yearly.

Thanks

Restructure the damn shithole and see states either sit-up or collapse.
How will Kano, Katsina, and Jigawa that will almost determine the president of Nigeria has less combined IGR than Delta State?

the five southeast states did not generate more than lagos

Can you even read the link you wrote? The list does not show the state in any definite order. So how come you are lying here about the ones you wrote?

I don’t even know the person that wrote the news coz most of the point laid out is rubbish. How does he even put Abia as part of developed states, is it in terms of infrastructure, IGR, economy, industries or what.

What do you want done in the state capital? Just enquiring.

As per the particular topic under discussion (leadership performance), perhaps there should be a specific bureau or something detailing these things for the public.

you have time for the mo.ro.n. If you'd said something about any state in their yeast, they'd have mentioned you with alot of accusations. I really love how you ony talked about states from yorubalands only and ignore rest. That's how i really want it from my fellow yoruba brethrens. If it's not yoruba or our lands, then it's not worth it at all. I hardly open any thread that doesn't have to do with Yorubas.

I will be opening a thread about the Okun people(The yorubas in Kogi) soon, i'll mention you there.

And by the way, are you from Ondo state?
