Just proof that I got poweramp running on my phone.

Most of my mp3 files already got album covers, tags, some got lyrics, and mostly 320kbps anyway. Not fussing over connections to the internet.

I'm using a custom theme with it.

I so much love andriod. I was worried about the fact that all application install on phone memory. I made research and found out I can move some movable apps via App2SD. That worked fine but can only move SOME movable apps. I just discovered that I can move not just movable but Movable and unmovable apps via this.
I recommend DroidSail Super App2SD (ROOT) v 3.6. Visit the links from your android device

Hello guys, I have an HTC EVO 3D that carries Sprint network on it from the US and its CDMA. So guys I need ur advise, shld I sell it off or continue using it?
I have been using the WiFi to browse all this while,so I decided to go enquire for a CDMA network(starcomms) to be put on it. Guess what? They said I will need 10k to program a number on it,as if that was the end. The data plan subscription is killing...
What shld i do? Cos I love this phone gan ni o

ur best bet is to continue using it and just be patient till u can get a gsm android device
u cud sell it if u can but dat will mean getting sm1 whos ready to go tru all d wahala u went tru
or u can find out if its possible to subscribe an izap data plan on the line (e.g 9am-9pm/N7k/unlimited data) and then tether it to ur pc or other device wen u want to . . .
Well i hope that helps
Cheers

btw, how much is d data plan subscriptoin u r using now?

off the top of my head id say thats bullshyte

i have never done anything or searched for anything in that regard but...

i give u an example. BB storm one comes with CDMA and GSM radios. t was even locked to verizon.
one day i put in a CDMA sim and it did not work.

Later i discovered the code to get to the Engineering Screen and found i could change the number and and MNI/MCC codes. i did and rebooted, Voila it got network.

what im saying is i dont know about your phone, personally all the phones i have used, i tinker with them indepth.
but im pretty sure if you can get to the Engineering screen or get some tool wherein you can edit the radio firmware or even just flash anor one, it will work just fine.

mcheew, na magic the person wey wan change the radio settings for starcomms wan do?

dude, google and xda/android underground is your pally
Re: Android, Anyone? by Atmreloaded: 1:44pm On Jun 07, 2012
I really appreciate ur concern bro...but this one does not even have a sim tray, therefore it can't use sim cards. I am litu bit confused on what do now...
Re: Android, Anyone? by lynxnoon(m): 3:20pm On Jun 07, 2012
guy ur fone is only meant for cdma networks i.e starcomms, multilinks etc
so even if u unlock it . .. which of course is possible, u cant use any gsm network like glo, mtn, etisalat or zain
which brings us back to my 1st response to ur post earlier on
Re: Android, Anyone? by 4llerbuntu(m): 4:04pm On Jun 07, 2012
I really do no think it means much.

fact is as long as the dude at starcomms has said it can be programmed, it can. and you can do it yourself.

it only means there is a particular place in the phone, most likely radio firmware, that the details and phone number of the network it was locked to will be changed into that of starcomms.

its not so dissimilar to unlocking a phone!

too bad im not the one using that phone. say who die? mcheew.

@Atmreloaded. my advice to you is to get more interested, or else just plunk down the 10k for dem oshofree.
i can bet you it will go into some engineers pocket there, and the guy will just use one tool on his laptop, prolly the one they use for their own android phones to give you a number.

actually what they want you to do is pay for their number plus extra on top for them. if you had a previous number on their network, you would just transfer it.

If there is no sim tray, there is no nee bring it. Just sell it because thats what i had to do with my Evo for sprint before i came to Nigeria.

actually met one who did that in 2010!! he migrated the number on the izap stick onto his phone, and cleared it with their switch
for his personal use tho.

all those things are like that. for example i know a swift engineer who has free internet on a usb stick. it is a specially created thingy, and it is not official. go figure
