First am not encouraging anything, secondly I never said xiaomi is a bad device, I just want xiaomi users on Nairaland to stop attacking other brands so much, der is different advising and attacking,

Both phones are great but going by your preference and how much you can afford redmi note 8 pro is the best . Not sure of where to buy in port Harcourt but you can order at reduced on jumia. Service centres are available in Lagos.

Note 8 if you have money or Note 8 Pro if you have plenty money.
Yes, lots of accessories are available. Redmi and Xiaomi phones are very strong. Still, if a part breaks you can order a replacement from Aliexpress. Any phone repairer can fix it to your phone. There are also Nairalanders here who specialize in repairing Xiaomi and Redmi phones. Parts for Xiaomi and Redmi phones are also really cheap.
As for accessories, plenty dey. My recommendation would be to get a Redmi Note 8 Pro from any of the genuine Nairalanders selling it. Check out Noobody or Protein. There is a thread where they and others offer all kinds of phones for sale. Search and see.

Go for the note 8 pro, its camera quality is very good.
As for the availability of parts, I'm not so sure. But I have seen a few threads on nairaland selling redmi parts. Accessory are available sha.
You should be able to get it in portharcourt through jumia. And it costs between 90k-120k.

Xiaomi also have phones less than 20k ( redmi go) it's 17500 so explain now? Yes they have expensive ones but they also have low end phones with good specs
Btw I know about 12 people using a Xiaomi phone and it's only one of them I advised the rest bought it on their own
