Trump will win 2020 Election just like the way it happened in the Uk. Many thought the labour party will win but the people voted against the labour party because they wanted to send a message to the labour party that the will of the people will always stand.

What Baba said is common knowledge but his choice of word is poor. Even a primary school child knows that in democracy, power is transient. It’s either 4 or at most 8years. This is neither deductive reasoning nor intelligent observation.
Moreover, to think that Trump has humbled is naive and facts contradicts that. His tweets, unapologetic statement and refusal to cooperate with the impeachment is an indication of the fact that he remains unruffled about the whole process.

Chief Ebenezer Babatope, a former Minister of Transport on Thursday said the impeachment of US President, Donald Trump by the House of Representatives is a lesson to all world leaders that power is transient.

He clearly does not understand impeachment as defined in English language and in the US constitution.

The US Senate cannot quench or stop and impeachment, impeachment starts and ends in the House.

After that, if the House chooses; they can refer the article of impeachment to the Senate; the House can decided to either send or not to send it to the Senate; whether it is sent or not or if their is trial in the Senate or not; the President stand impeached!

The trial that takes place in the Senate is totally different, if the Senate convict him he will then be removed from office, if the Senate does not, he still remain an impeached President.

Impeachment is just an official Indictment of an offense. The Nigeria constitution have it wrong as the removal from office.

And only serious offenses warrant the impeachment of a president like the one Trump committed putting national security in danger. But the blemish of impeachment lingers on whether the president is removed or not, in most cases, people tend to lose confidence in such leader to be reelected back to the office.
