Thats the difference between a locomotive and a plane. In a car you can choose to roll down the glass but in planes you can't. So its compulsory to always use the AC

Aircraft air conditioning doesn't work the way most folks think. It is more likely the temperature settings were left mild because of complaints on earlier flights about the cold air during these harmattan period. At altitude the bleed air from the engines is super cold and rather needs heating than cooling to achieve ambient temperature.

As long as as air pressure was maintained in the cabin it is more than likely nothing was wrong with the system, just the temperature settings.

Nice to know those who know how some of these things work

AC is the only source of air especially when an aircraft is airborne, that's if you understand the grammar. So it is not luxury, the ac simply has to work. Have you been on an aircraft before?

Queen of angels is the name...I flew this plane to Jos recently and the aircondition was very poor... I think it got worst now.

You cannot open any passenger window in a plane. Yes, the cockpit windows can be opened while on the ground on most aircraft models and not during an "aircraft flight." Stop joking; it is not funny! Also, the windows of the newer models aircraft like the "Boeing 787 and Airbus 350" cannot be opened, instead they have emergency escape hatch.

Lest I forget, you cannot open an airplane door while the cabin is pressurized!

Exactly that has happened before and pilots had to start the APU in flight.

Also, we’re talking about Nigeria here where anything and everything goes.

No pilots should take off with out enough fuel, one reverser not working, flaps not working and yet FAA accident investigations are littered with as such.

Faulty AC doesn’t necessarily mean loss of consciousness.

The pilot may come down to a lower non pressurized level.

Also, many aircraft have a procedure to open a door in flight.

guy may be he meant the condition inside the plane was hot, and I have experienced it before on Dana(once), and i think Arik too(once).
Till we got to destination, na so i no fit sleep.
