WIth the pressure on board, AC is not a luxury.

Lack of AC can be suicidal.

Different people with different health conditions.

Don't just assume everything na 'BigManism'

You talk like as if you know but you don't know. AC is only needed on the ground. once you are above 20,000 feet it is extremely cold so you don't need AC any longer. Plane flies at 30,000 feet so I don't know what AC that illiterate is asking for

What rubbish is this one saying.

The plane is literarily a vacuum up there. Pressurised.

So what form of ventilation would be there be if there is no circulation of air.

Have u entered any international flight that u fanned Ur self with hand fan ?

Please stop displaying your ignorance. A quick research will not hurt plus it will get you enlightened. So get busy before you quote me

Temperatures can drop as low as - 28°C at 30000 feet. Now what planes do is to heat it up to a convenient 23°C which is comfortable for passengers. No need for machines to recreate cold since at that level the plane is literally surrounded by cold temperatures

You mean that you cant live without AC or what.. less than an hour in the air and you want to feel like a boss... AC choke you dere
Don’t exhibit how naive you are. There is no doubt you have never been to an airport, let alone board a flight. A plane without a funcional AC is not flight worthy and ARIK should be heavily punished for being that stupid. Poverty seems to be limiting your thinking capacity. I wish you a turn around in life in 2020.

You are displaying your ignorance is an arrogant way. Your case nah that of “mumu when nor know sey him be mumu”. Of course an Air Conditioner is needed in an aircraft at that altitude. Do you know that compressed air (called bleed air) tapped from airplane engine even at such altitude (with outside temperature of -30 degrees ) is almost 300 degrees centigrade? Of course work has to be done on such hot air to power or pressurize several aircraft systems including the air conditioning, pressurization, the wing and engine anti-icing system etc. Don’t think it is as easy as warming -30 degree centigrade air to prevent people from freezing. It is a very complex process and it requieres a lot of intelligence to understand the intricate mechanisms of work.

Do your research well, it is not as easy as you claim. The temperature of compressed air that is tapped from the airplane engine is almost 300 degrees centigrade. Air conditioning and pressurization remains highly necessary because a lot of work still has to be done to make the fight conducive at that altitude.
