yesloaded: And you think we the educated literates will vote for anything that comes from PDP that refuse to iniate positive ideas into the economic when the foreign reserve was booming? PDP brought us to the bad situation we are experiencing today. APC's ideas are a welcome development if we must have sustainable development growth. |

yesloaded: It's on everybody's mind... Abaribe said it already Let me stop playing around, we need the guy out of that office, let someone with vision and purpose come on board, but this is Nigeria, him leaving and we getting someone with vision are two things that might never happen, it's only wishes But def, he must leave come 2023, but the second part, someone with vision and purpose, that's a really long shot for us as Nigerians But we can act the power we hold are in our own hands |

Pastor Adeboye spoke well jare. If you know how much our recurrent expenditure is within the budget. You would agree that it needs to be reduced. Public servant using public Monies with care On the other hand, tithe payers are the ones who can query how their funds have been put to use. If they want their tithes used for their pastor's luxury. Na them Sabi. |

divineappo:I don’t pay tithe and I don’t attend any church. But I don’t care what a Christian does with his money. The church does not have any responsibility to me. I pay my tax to the government and I can only demand how it is spent. If this is too much for a dunce like you to grab then your problem is more than what I can handle. |

Pastor Adeboye is right on this! These politicians want to earn as if they've helped create a world class economy. In case these ignorant politicians don't know, churches on the long run strengthen the economy through 'religious tourism ' and contributions foreign missions make over the years. Politicians were [s]elected to deliver the dividends of democracy. The same cannot be said about our pastors, people can choose to be part of what they promote, with the political class we don't seem to have a choice because choices are not respected. |

Fasindo:Daft talk. Tithes are voluntary unlike taxes. Tithes are based on trust and believe. Tax is based on coercion. Tithe is part of a private system(christian) arrangement, tax is common to all muslims, Christians and traditionalist. Tithe is for the house of God. tax is for the common things children of God share with those who don't believe. Adeboye covers more constituency(Intl inclusive) than 99% of our leaders so he needs jets more than them. |

Hon Success Torhukerhijo- Member, Ondo State House of Assembly representing Ese- Odo constituency. “Let me tell you straight away that our responsibilities in our different constituencies surpass what we even earn as salaries. What we earn is even too small and considering a reduction is out of it. Calling for a reduction is not even possible because it’s only when you earn bogus salaries that you would contemplate that a reduction won’t affect you. But in a situation that what you even earn is not enough for you and your family then what we should be talking about should be how it can be increased. So a reduction in whatever guise is unacceptable. What we earn as legislators is not comparable to the enormous responsibilities that we face on daily basis in our constituencies. A statement like the above is one main reason NIGERIA IS SO HOPELESS. I'm still wondering what job they really do there to earn over N15m every month? |
