All suggestions noted. Hard Rock is in Landmark right? I’ll use one stone to kill two birds. Would sure report back on how it went.

Thanks and do have a nice day. smiley
Yea. Hard rock close to Landmark and separated from Oniru with Stones. Their music and the environment is nice, which I'm sure you will enjoy their food too.

If you want to relax, try the House at Victoria Island. You can stay outdoors and enjoy yourself or any of the rooms in the building.
Their foods are abit on the high side though.(Just saw its under renovation till March 17th).

Do have a nice day too

I have been to Oniru beach. Didn’t know there is a Moist beach. I don’t think I want to go back there except If i want to club.

I have been to Artican, Elegushi, Laguna and Landmark. Landmark is still my favourite followed by Laguna. I don’t like too much noise.

Who wanna go to La Campaign Tropicana with me?

A lady 19-23.

The real Poco. Nice photography skills. But I will still continue to avoid that suicidal Lagos like a spell. cry

Anyway, I need that wig. I love the fluffiness. Does your supplier have an Instagram account? I also need to know how much you got it for.

Thanks sis. You can always visit and leave. That is less suicidal right? cheesy

Bought it from my hairdresser about three years ago. Got tired of fixing it, so I turned it into a wig. It cost about 40k then- including the closure. You can check Mizwanneka, baby curls plenty there.

I know Alimosho to be a local government, I would have asked where in Alimosho.

Anyway, I entered ALIMOSHO in the app. This is what I got, no SURGE. You don’t wanna imagine the cost when there is a surge, especially weekends, during peak periods.

Hello pocohantas, I accessed the app yesterday and from my side, it was #2,900-#3800. I think their rates of 60Naira per km and 11naira per minute should be fixed irrespective of weekends or festive periods. Thanks for your response.

Thanks for your response.

Rates are fixed. However, during peak periods- mornings, close of school/work, weekends, festive period, etc- there would be high demand, thus prices will go up (i.e) surge. Also, areas in Alimosho LGA where drivers do not like going (due to bad roads) tend to experience it, to attract drivers into accepting such trips.

You can see a 2.3 surge, which would give you that amount multiplied by 2.3.

You’re welcome.

Don't get me wrong I like landmark but you know how Lagos is. How can a beach close by 10? I had an issue recently. We were supposed to hook up for a party there which we organized and paid for only for us to get there late because of the usual traffic on that road. I had to park and trek down to the beach From ajose that day. Only to get there and they said they had closed by 10pm. A lot of other people who had similar issues were there as well explaining that the traffic was still long and people were still coming all to no avail. Do you know we had to organize another one without refund in oniru. One has to understand the terrain when doing business. Sometimes you can be in traffic at that axis for 3-5 hours.

Nice thread I must admit, albeit your photographing skills needs to be worked on. It wasn't neutrally documented. If you could publicize the faces of the tax collectors, I see no reason why you should blur the face of that fair waitress on white and blue bumshot.

That's aside anyway!

But if truth must be told; a typical Onitsha brought up will choose and prefer to catch his/her fun in River Niger rather than spending at least 10k to visit Oniru Beach just for snapping sake without enjoying the beach.

The only thing they can spend upto 10k for is Biafran Flag.
Are you sure you've been to oniru because I don't think you will remember to snap. Probably it was just her prerogative, its actually interesting.

I understand , the traffic on that ligali road alone , what I normally do is move up towards fourpoint then come in through water cooperation, that's from landmark towers , anyway maybe they will charge soon or they are trying not to disturb what's happening around other event centers they have around , like film house and hard rock cafe

You are really candid for admitting you dont know what Heineken draft/draught is.But wait ,you have not been to a proper pub.You come across as a well informed or travelled person.I read your comment on an investment topic where you showed a proper grasp of the matter and made me to believe you must have worked in either treasury or TROPS of a bank.

you know there are different types of red wine with different tones - merlot, syrah, sauvignon, cabernet, petite etc. Try them out and stick to a type. They all have different feel. If you get what vibes you. Once in a while you can treat yourself to it but moscato red or white mostly white summarizes me.

Hmmm. I think I've found a new route to that axis but you you sure its safe at night because it somewhat looks lonely.

i see you have a sweet mouth. Try pinot noir or moscato still. Its sweetened so you will love it. You can just Chen it out in your nearest mall.

Hi pocohantas, amazing thread I must say. I have a couple questions though. Do you have any idea how much it costs to get a cabana/seating area with shade for about 40 people on the main beach? Also, any idea if they allow bonfires for people staying on the beach overnight?
Sorry for the many questions lol but do you have maybe a contact there that I can call?

Thanks.

For this beach? I can’t tell. This beach is not that organized. You’ll probably have to make reservations from one of the numerous bars on the beach. They do that for people.

I can’t remember seeing any accommodation on this beach that would allow for overnight/bonfire.

It is okay. No problem at all, questions are allowed.
