Vs 7 Literallly " He emptied himself of his divine privileges" to take the position of a slave. Only God could do that. It is like a King becoming a slave. It is called total humility. That is why the verse prior to this(5) said we should have the same atitude of CHRIST. Humilty is having inner strength to do what the world considers foolsih.
