Kudos to Senator Hope Uzodimma for setting up 6 standard Isolation Centres in Imo State. Hopefully we will not record any Coronavirus case in Imo State but it's good to be prepared and ready just incase.

Last week I criticised him for not doing enough especially for not setting up an isolation centre in Imo. Today I am writing this to appreciate him for doing the needful eventhough that's what's he's elected to do and he didn't do it with his personal money.

I am someone that say things as it is without fear or favour because nobody is feeding me. He tried on this one.

Last time I heard he donated hand sanitizers and some other items to the LGA'S but nobody in my community got anything. And again few days ago I heard he donated some bags of rice and other things to every LGA in Imo State and again nobody in my town got anything.

It's not like I need any of these things, His Excellency should just make sure that these things gets to the poor people that truly needs them. I suspect that some greedy people close to him are hijacking the items.

1) Okigwe Hospital,
2) Aboh Mbaise General Hospital,
3) Orlu General Hospital,
4) Federal Medical Center Owerri,
5) General Hospital Umuguma and
6) Ultra-Modern Well-being Center, Owerri, Orlu Road.

These 6 Isolation Centers are equipped with World Class Medical Equipment and Qualified Medical/Health workers including Foreign Medical Personnel.
Also on ground, are well trained and equipped Medical Experts from the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC).
In addition to the existing State Task Force on COVID-19, His Excellency, further set up Task Force on COVID-19 for the 27 LGAs and Wards with 28 state-of-the-art Ambulances provided to fortify the state in readiness for any Emergency.

Imo state is yet to record any case, yet the preparedness is in full.

Even the team he constituted for Covid-19 are top medical experts led by Prof Maurice Iwu.

Even though he ascended the throne wrongfully, we must support him to succeed.

You can't get people to stand on their feet for achieving a mundane task like this. Every sensible governor in the world is doing this.
