The angel of the Lord, it's written there and I've answered that.

I will give more details if required.
As for the Pharaoh's part, temptation was not the reason, he had been keeping them slaves for a long time till Moses showed up and God sent an angel to kill his son and other first born son, you can't tell me it's the power of man that made it possible for the Nile to turn bloody red, or a man that slay all this first-born sons, you know who was behind the 10 plagues but, that's not the case now.
God hardened his heart, it's written there.
Please who@ Exodus 9 vs 12

Pls post the verses in the book of Exodus where it says the angel of the Lord.

I have answered yours please answer mine @ Exodus 9 vs 12 (who hardened Pharaoh's heart there)

Read Exodus 3 1-4
Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his
father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock
to the far side of the wilderness and came to Horeb,
the mountain of God. There the angel of the LORD
appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush.
Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not
burn up. So Moses thought, “I will go over and see
this strange sight—why the bush does not burn up.”
When the LORD saw that he had gone over to look,
God called to him from within the bush, “Moses!
Moses!”
And Moses said, “Here I am.”

@Exodus 9 vs 12 : Who was the one that hardened Pharaoh's heart there (you can check up that verse)
I will still answer yours, Pride and envy are the main reasons for such, do you think any king will let any low class man (Moses was no where near Pharaoh in position) take away your slaves and challenge him (no sensible king will let that) [Pride], he felt almost defeated and he had to give in (let the people go) then, he can't stand be a king of defeat and why would be stripped off the people he had be ruling over, why would Moses have them in the name of his God (envy).

From what you wrote here, you can see that pride and envy are the source of Pharaoh’s temptation. So God need not harden his heart again. If there was no pride and envy in the heart of Pharaoh, his heart wouldn’t have been hardened. You just shot yourself in the foot.

Don’t worry, I’ll answer your question. The answer to your question is in what i asked you to post.

I’m sure you didn’t read your post before posting it. The devil will always tempt a man using the man’s weaknesses or with what man has been exposed to. For example, the devil will find it hard to tempt me with cocaine because I’ve not done drug before. Neither sodomy because the desire is not in me. Once the devil identifies a strong desire or weakness in you, he tempts you with such by drawing you away, and this eventually leads you to committing the sin. However, he needs the man’s cooperation. This is just what happened in pharaoh’s case. God just used the whole thing to fulfill his purpose.

However one can sin without temptation, especially in some cases of lying, presenting false weaknesses, vandalization and havok, worshipping false God, disobedience, omission etc

God spoke to him, do answer my question please.

I like the fact that you said God spoke to him. Now consider this scripture:

“who have received the law by the direction of angels and have not kept it. ””
‭‭Acts‬ ‭7:53‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Now, from the above, from whom did Moses receive the law?

Certainly not from God. You can also consider this:

“What purpose then does the law serve? It was added because of transgressions, till the Seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was appointed through angels by the hand of a mediator.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

So the law was appointed by angels and by the hand of a mediator( Moses). So my friend, that voice you heard on mount Sinai was not actually God’s voice, but the voice of an angel.

God will not be involved in the ministration of death.

Neither will He be involved in anything that ministers fear.

“Now all the people witnessed the thunderings, the lightning flashes, the sound of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they trembled and stood afar off. Then they said to Moses, “You speak with us, and we will hear; but let not God speak with us, lest we die.” And Moses said to the people, “Do not fear; for God has come to test you, and that His fear may be before you, so that you may not sin.””
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭20:18-20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

He is not in thundering and earthquake, but speaks in a still small voice.

“Then He said, “Go out, and stand on the mountain before the LORD.” And behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake; and after the earthquake a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice.”
‭‭I Kings‬ ‭19:11-12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Otherwise, He would be contradicting his words here:

“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.”
‭‭I John‬ ‭4:18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

And God is love!

Why did I have to go through this long epistle?

That’s the only way I can answer your question.

You see, my dear brother, the New Testament explains the Old Testament . The Bible is written in progressive revelations. So, until you’ve read the Bible from Genesis to revelation, you can not fully understand God’s thoughts. In fact, you have no business teaching it because you’ll be ineffective. The Bible should be read together, otherwise you’ll come to wrong conclusions and then speak presumptuously. It’s like watching a 2-hour movie filled with so much plots, twists and suspense, and suddenly after watching for thirty minutes, you then say you have a full knowledge and understanding of the movie.

Now to your question .......

To your question my dear brother, it is clear to everyone what Exodus 9 : 12 says.

“But the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh; and he did not heed them, just as the LORD had spoken to Moses.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭9:12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

It says God hardened the heart of Pharaoh. It is clearly stated there. So then are many things written in the Bible that have been misunderstood. For example, Job and his three friends said so many wrong things about God in
the Bible. So the fact that something is written in the Bible doesn’t mean it is completely true.

It must be filtered and validated by God’s nature and character. You must know that Old Testament writers due to the darkness in them, wrote in shadows and partial truth. At this point, they were alienated from God.

“having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart;”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4:18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Moses wrote Genesis to Deuteronomy and this verse says Moses’s understanding was darkened because of the blindness of his heart . Darkness is the absence of light and this light is Christ. Since light was absent, he couldn’t completely know and understand God’s nature. This is why most of the evils in the Old Testament was attributed to God.

Back to Job and co, from chapters 1- 37, Job and his three friends were spewing lies about God. They thought they knew Him, and their arguments sounded rational. But God is not a rational being.
Until God spoke in chapter 38:

“Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said: “Who is this who darkens counsel By words without knowledge?”
‭‭Job‬ ‭38:1-2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

In other words, who is this person that has been spewing lies about me, because of the wrong knowledge he had about me. Despite what God says here, it amazes me that Christians still build their doctrines around the book of Job. God is basically saying here that most of the things said about Him was wrong.

After God revealed Himself to Job and co, then he repented because he now has a new revelation about God’s nature.

“Then Job answered the LORD and said: “I know that You can do everything, And that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You. You asked, ‘Who is this who hides counsel without knowledge?’ Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand, Things too wonderful for me, which I did not know. Listen, please, and let me speak; You said, ‘I will question you, and you shall answer Me.’ “I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, But now my eye sees You.”
‭‭Job‬ ‭42:1-5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Note that if God had not spoken in chapter 38 to reveal himself, job would go to his grave with the inaccurate knowledge of God.

That is what is happening to most Christians today. They read the beginning without reading the end, and therefore arrive at the wrong conclusion.
