check how it is done in other countries b4 u start ranting....NCDC is following the standard format...recorded cases' is different from 'active cases'
Senseless comment.
The discharged cases per state should also reflect when updating the recorded cases afresh.
Eg Edo 15 -5 =10
Enugu 2- 2=0
E.T.C
That's how good and reliable record keeping is done.
Those states were the number reduced from 15 to 10 or from 2 to 0 should be adjusted properly by the side when the list is been updated. They should borrow leaf from how football league or cups current standings table are been displayed that way even a child can follow up what's going on without being tutored.
Imagine someone just looking at that list for the first time he or she will think that Edo state still has 15 covid-19 patients and Enugu state still has 2 patients or that the Rivers State covid-19 patients figure has not reduced.

Dude, this thing is a virus. it spreads by contact with people. They've told you everything to do to prevent the virus. Only 1 person can mistakenly infect the whole Nigeria. just wash your hands and stay quarantined if you have the symptoms.
There's no antivirus for this sickness. However, once a person has caught it and recovered, he cannot catch it again 2nd time

Science has not failed. The failure from the outset, and from country to country, has been in not taking the threat seriously and taking common sense precautions, and not being transparent in communications.

You are making a lot of sense bro.

There should also be a sub-analysis of the figures for Lagos by local govt area where the affected persons reside. This may help spot a trend so that govt can aggressively pursue door-to-door search/testing in these LGAs.

We need to be sincere to our selve. I dont think the goverment has anything to gain in this. With the whole economic locked down. Do you know how much goverment is loosing daily compare to the donation they received. Its high time we agreed with goverment on this.
U dey mind them. The money donated isnt up to what we are losing at the moment. Stealing of money has been happening since the time of Lord Luggard without the need for lockdown.

No be their fault anyway. Our politicians made them that way.

This is the highest so far, I think. One quick question :

Aside from the known fact that Lagos is well populated, why is the rate of newly discovered cases in other states very slow? The one for Edo is crawling like snail. some states have been on 2 cases only for almost a week now.

I think its the level of test results from those places. I don't think NCDC have tested much people in those states.

More testing is now revealing community spread of the virus...it's a difficult time for everyone at the moment, so I expect government to review their palliatives to cover all families cos we have the resources in excess...let's not pretend about this, Nigeria is a wealthy nation, but since the black man doesn't believe his compatriots deserve to be comfortable, they tell u we have a fighting spirit so we can nod in affirmation and continue to suffer while calling it hussling....it's time for everyone to eat from the nation's wealth abeg cos this are hard times.

You need to change your mentality, bro

Nigeria is NOT a wealthy country

If you know that GNI per capita is used for measuring wealth, you will understand that Nigeria is nowhere rich.

With her huge population in comparison with her income, Nigeria can never be regarded as rich country.

Not true. Only about 17% of people displayed a form of immunity to the virus after catching it.

There were people who recovered and caught it again.

So you can still catch the virus again after recovering from it.

Pls does it mean that the total discharged and deaths are subtracted from the total confirmed cases.or the total confirmed cases are the number of people still having the virus in Nigeria?

The total confirmed cases include both the recovered, dead and active cases
