The only bad thing about Cristiano's life is Messi. If it wasn't for Messi, Cristiano would be the best player in the world for five consecutive years.

Same with Messi too. If he had come when there was no Ronaldo, it would have been a smooth sail. But Ronaldo full ground.

How about someone like Akinwumi Adesina? Must nepotism be number 1 in Nigeria?

Dr Akinwumi Adesina is a proven administrator. He would do better than all those people listed up there

Since we are listing profiles here, let me drop the profile of Akinwumi Adesina for those who do not know

* Akinwumi Adesina is the President of the African Development Bank

* He was Vice President of Policy and Partnerships for the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA)

* He attended a village school in Oyo and went ahead to graduate with a Bachelors in Agricultural Economics with First Class Honors from the University of Ife, Nigeria (1981) (Note: A first class from OAU is no joke)

* He was the first student to be awarded this first class in that department in OAU

* He has his masters from Purdue University in Indiana

* He has a PhD (Agricultural Economics) in 1988 from Purdue where he won the Outstanding PhD Thesis for his research work.

* He worked at the Rockefeller Foundation since winning a fellowship from the Foundation as a senior scientist

* His short time as Minister of Agriculture in Nigeria created the agricultural revolution we are enjoying today.

* He is the current President of the African Development Bank

I am tired of typing.

That position is too small for an ex-minister.

Why must a head of African Development Bank be recommended for such a BOY BOY JOB

Buhari sends Atiku to President Zuma to lobby for Minister Adesina

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar over the weekend commenced lobby for the candidacy of Nigeria’s Minister of Agriculture, Akinwumi Adesina as President of the African Development Bank (AfDB).

A statement issued by the Atiku Media Office in Abuja said that Atiku Abubakar’s shuttle diplomacy to shore up the much-needed support for the Nigerian candidate follows a mandate from President-elect Muhammadu Buhari to the former Vice President to leverage on his contacts to lobby for the emergence of Mr. Adesina.

President-elect Buhari, who backs the candidacy of Mr. Adesina, had last month conveyed his support to the President of Ghana, John Mahama, when the two leaders met in Abuja.

Kashim Shettima will be picked ....the guy played an important role in Buhari becoming president. He planned the whole "missing chibok girls" saga when he was governor of Borno which in turn gave Jonathan a lot enemies and made him look incompetent in the face of Nigerians and the world. That kidnap destabilized Jonathan and gave Buhari an upper hand in winning that elections
