After God had created Adam he noticed that he
looked very lonely. He decided to help. He said
"Adam, I've decided to make you a woman. She'll
love you, cook for you, be sweet to you, and
understand you." Adam said "Great! How much will
she cost me?" The answer came back, "An arm and
a leg."

"Well," said Adam "what can I get for a rib?"

I think adam felt an arm and a leg was too much to give just for a woman, so he thought by offering a rib he'll probably get something else... a chimp maybe(lol)

if adam had given an arm and leg,he would have gotten a woman who would love him,cook for him and be good to him but he gave just a rib and he got lesser and maybe almost the opposite
