The Ramadan has just started. It is a period of fasting for Muslims. This period we have to ask very important questions like Why does Islam get a pass everywhere?!! Why is Islam when it comes to religions treated like a "big over pampered baby" that can bully others but cries wolf and whines all day when it is in turn criticised?!! Even here on Nairaland. Why does Islam get a pass to come on Nairaland topics and abuse Atheists, Christians, etcetera all day and everyone is to keep quiet but when it is criticised. They get agitated and call you all sorts of names like Islamophobes, Islam Hater, etcetera? Why do one have to get the Shahada tag before you can comment on Islam topics when you don't need it with Atheist or Christian generated topics? Why does the Islamists get a pass to claim that they believe in Jesus but put up topics that are clearly blasphemous to the Christian faith and their Nairaland posts never get deleted but when a Christian does same. His topics get deleted and then he or she gets banned by the Mods? I thought this forum is said to be owned by an Atheist, Seun?! Even Atheists don't get this type of special pass. It's not just here on this forum. This is the pattern everywhere even with the Media in the West. Everyone seems to get bullied by Islam. They force their Sharia laws on countries, their form of banking, their dress degradation of women on cultures, etcetera while still hating on these Western countries that allow them get away with all these. Even Atheists with all their attacks on Christianity get really scared of Islam. It's like Islam is the untouchable over pampered child that should always be overlooked. Even everyone who was once a Muslim but really looking at the Religion and the embarrassing lifestyle of it's founder, Muhammad and hence decides to be an Ex-muslim also get bullied. They are called all sorts of derogatory names and told that they were never real Muslims in the first place and their nuclear families go as far as killing them if the need be. Many have to escape to be able to live a decent life or continue to pretend to still be Muslims in other avoid getting killed or denied their family inheritance. In major Islamic countries. Even current Muslims like Imam of Peace or Mufti Abu Layth, etcetera who are still Muslims but who say openly that Islam has to be reformed because of all it's excesses are often ostracized and villified. Muslims go as far as calling them Satan. Other Ex-muslim Atheists like Abdullah Sameer, Veedu Viz, Hassan Radwan, etcetera. Numerous comments are on their Channels by Muslims to kill them saying that qur'an sanctions the killing of Infidels. Even recently, A Pakistan Muslim couple called on Islamic jihadists around the World to obey Allah and kill Ex-muslim now Atheist, Sam Harris because he is causing many Muslims to become Atheists and also there is so much hate for David Wood, Jay Smith, Botros, etcetera who are also causing many Muslims to be Christians. Father Botros has caused many Muslims to be Christians in the Islamic. A Islamic Fatwa of 60,000,0000 dollars was placed on his head to get killed because of this. Muslims whether the so called moderates or jihadists are always quick to say Islam is Peace but there is no consistency to this. Why the moderate Muslims subtly wage war on silencing free speech online forcing big media outlets like Nairaland, Facebook, Google, etcetera to take down channels, posts, videos of critics while the Muslims contents of blasphemy and criticism against other religions are allowed to stay online. The Jihadists are on ground physically waging war in the cause and name of Allah like Boko Haram, etcetera. Their methods differ between the moderate Muslims and jihadists but same purpose which is to ensure the domination of Islam globally. If you criticise Islam or Muhammad. Allah and the Muslims will wail and cry out loud that you do so but they will gladly criticise your religion or belief. Why this inconsistency for a religion that claims to represent peace. If you represent peace. You should not be jittery and scared of any type of criticism. Attacking Muhammad' life based on violence is legitimate relative to human rights but relative to Christianity its deceitful and hypocrisy. The Bible sanctioned the same kind of things Christians are quick to criticise him for so you cant convince anyone that Muhammad is not of God because of Violence. Except you want to detach and renounce the God of the old testament. @op besides those shades thrown at Muhammad, you are right ; Islam is being pampered in the world. The western world is very engrossed in human rights which creates so many loopholes that are being exploited by various peoples including LGBT and muslims. karo93: I really don't subscribe to the argument that people give with the Christians having violence in the Old Testament to try and say hence, Islam is justified. I feel that that this argument really holds no water. Let's be honest. I don't know of any Christian or Christian organization that goes about cutting off people's head in the name of Moses or citing the violence of the Judaism as a basis to take down any individual. Do you know of any in the past 200 years or more doing that?!! None! But as you can see from this picture below with this Muslim giving the "Allah is one" sign with his index finger. There are moderate Muslims but the Islamic Jihadi instructions is so consuming and still current and binding on every Muslim that it is very easy to get indoctrinated into this. The qur'an doesn't abrogate the "Kill the Jews and Christians and all others who don't believe in Allah" verses as "Old Qur'an parts". It is still an integral part of current Islam that all an extremist needs to do is to just use them to validate their killing of others.

Qudsi: Islam is a weapon and a ticking time bomb that can be armed and detonated by anyone with half a brain. Christianity is equally a weapon and in the days of the Crusades,the church fought wars in the name of God just like in the old testament. The difference is that it is not easy to arm christianity for violence. It can be done but its not easy. However arming islam for violence is very easy. Christianity was reformed by the new testament and islam needs a reform too. When? Probably never! Afterall even Judaism rejected the new testament. Thus the most confusing aspect of Islam is the moderate muslims who believe in peace. Funny enough it even looks like they work hand in hand; the moderates are the image to the world while the extremists are the muscle that force the world in line. But to be fair to Muhammad, most of the things he did are in line with what the prophets of the old testament did. Maybe just Maybe he was unable to communicate the love aspect of God to his followers which is plausible for a prophet-king that was always at war. His teachings may have had to be geared towards survival and strenght lest they are overrun by their enemies. |

We pray, we slash fornicators, we cut hands.” (“Cut hands,” according to the translator of the recording, means amputating the hands of thieves.) Do you want us to open our qur'an and Hadiths to show where he got the Islamic backings for this. Don't this look like what a "Moderate Shari'a complaint" Muslim will say?!
