A true man of God prophesies as lead by the Spirit of God. These are spiritual matters and not predictions. Things can be revealed to a spiritually alert person through dreams, visions, you could also hear God's voice through His word or via encounters.

God reveals what will happen in the future to mankind for one single purpose~ our salvation!

Apart from that there is no reason whatsoever that God wants to reveal to humans. All the prophecies found in the Bible is about God's Kingdom and how it will benefit mankind in general!

That's why God said in the last book of the Bible "No addition and No subtraction" Revelations 22:18-19

So whatever predictions or prophecies any of these religionists are exhibiting is of no use to the true God. He has revealed what will happen right from the birth of Christ to when evil will be no more!

Op , there is no more prophecy now , every body is looking for way to survive , isaiah that u people are using as an example is not unemployed before he started is prophesising , but now adays unemployment has push many nigerians into becoming prophet just to make their daily bread. Nigerian pastors and prophet are jobless people that are making their daily bread out of pastor and prophecy work . If u can answer my question i will believe in prophecy , what was bishop david oyedepo occupation before he said that GOD called him ? Did u read the interview of former governor of rivers state? It's not every prophecy that automatically comes to pass. There are prophecies that you need to activate by the force of prayer because the devil is also fighting against it.

Today many people dont believe in prophecies because they see many men of God as fake.
The Truth about prophecies is that if it is of God, no matter how long it will come to pass.

Remember, Isaiah prophecied about the birth of Jesus, which did not come in the life time of Isaiah and all that heard it. Many would have taken him to be a joker, alas, about 400 years later the prophecy was fulfilled.

So many prophecies in the Bible; many have been fulfilled, some yet. In a nutshell, all will be fulfilled!

The Greatest of them all is that Jesus Christ will return back and Only His Saints will reign with Him!

Please do not be deceived as the writer of this piece had put it. Jesus Christ will return to take His faithfuls home as he has promised. So many may not believe, but the truth is that it is to their damnation or destruction.
