but u have to know that there are igbo even to 4 generation in lagos; you shoul know that they have become lagosians and are not settlers again

what about an igbo man that has never been to the east from his grand father, will he know his state of origin in the east

Wherever OnyeIgbo or Ndigbo are, we would always identify with our respective towns within Alaigbo and Alaigbo itself. Its in our DNA to see Alaigbo as our point of ORIGIN unlike the Northerners that see their point of origin as wherever their COWS and GOATS lead them to - even if the ANIMALS are migrating into hell, they would go there and CLAIM. (Ask Jos and Ilorin people  )

My definition of Igbo is any Igbooid speaking group. That should be the only definition. If Igbo was spoken by your grandfather's father. Then you are Igbo.

Stop being divisive

You are Igbo as long as you believe In Biafra, and love money, and have at one time or the other kidnap your neighbor for money or know someone who has done so.

To prevent double counting, we will not include people who have at anytime in their adult life visited Okija as that is already accounted for with the definition above.
