I have no doubt that that allegation is true. Rivers,Delta,in particular, since 1999 have always been governed by criminals. It's seems inbred. But and because the EFCC has been ultra partisan and lopsided in who and who it prosecutes, governors and officials of states like Rivers would always play with that card to the public and garner support against the EFCC while they continue siphoning state funds like tap water. I wouldn't at all be surprised if all Wik recent charades and agberoish actions were deliberately done knowing the FG will be against it and come hard,so that when the EFCC comes calling, they would claim it's just an extension of the govt vendetta against the state and refuse cooperating with the EFCC 3 Likes |

I don't want to base my response on this alone but should this be true and the said money was not disbursed or used for any capital expenditure then I am afraid that the future of this country is not so great. This country will permanently go broke at some point |
