Use your head to think na.
Some Igbo officers also fought on the Nigerian side, it's war dude. By the way Google Obasanjo's father and see the results.

Nigeria had trained soldiers, more man power, well equipped and heavily backed by the great Britain, Soviet Union/couple of other word powers..

Biafra had untrained soldiers, less man power, manufactured most of their weapons themselves.. officially backed by no one, except few countries mostly African countries that showed sympathy and indirectly supported in a very little way they could.

Yet it took Nigeria years and war crime (blockage of Biafran food supply) to win??

Y'all should be ashamed and not rejoicing.

Igbo people are special, we all know that... They are naturally gifted.. intelligent and the bravest ethnic group in Nigeria, fighting for freedom is in their blood, yoruba would rather be a slave than pick up a sword. Cowardness at it's peak!

Biafra land was the last region to be conquered by the bristish during colonization,,,, they put up a good resistance.

Igbo are not meant to be slaves... It's their nature... Reports shows that African slaves of Biafra origin sold to Europe and America were always attempting to escape, some committed suicide in great numbers rather than settle as slaves... It's just their nature.

If Nigeria government don't take care of this Biafra agitation peacefully in a way that would benefit everyone, I see a second civil war coming some time in the future, it might not be anytime soon or in this generation but it will happen.

And this time it would be different... Well planned well prepared... And they would definitely make sure they have a powerful back up before pulling their swords. It would be bloody for both sides, I just hope I would be long gone by then.

OBJ did not fire a single shot, he spent the war mostly in guest houses and staff quarters talking by phone and radio to field commanders.

They were miscreants, we disciplined them then we had pity on them and pardoned them. They are starting to misbehave again, we might have to discipline dem again because it seems like they have forgotten who their daddies are grin

You are also crying starvation through blockage of food supply. If Biafrans were not stupid, why would they fight those feeding them? Is that not stupidity?

The food aid given to Biafrans, is it not Biafran soldiers who commandeered them and started selling same to Biafrans instead of giving them freely? Were Biafran soldiers not sleeping with Biafran girls just for food? Food that was donated to Biafra.

When they banned imported rice through land borders, the old riffraffs in the Ohaneze were shouting that they wanted to starve Igbos. If another war breaks out today and they send poisoned food to Biafra, how would Biafrans survive since this generation of Biafrans are even more stupid than their fathers and can't feed themselves or even have plans to.

If you can't feed yourselves, you are slaves to those who feed you.

MinorityOpinion:

Haven't you read the book. Eboe: The lost tribe of Israel

Around 1300BC during Moses time. The slaves were developing Egypt then, the blacks among them are Eboes (changed to Igbos by the settlers they met in South East). These blacks are hard workers, they built pyramid, built almost everything. Then Moses came to liberate them from the hardship. They ran toward the red sea.

Moses divided the red sea and every tribes of Israel crossed but Eboe were holding Egyptian army back. They were the last to cross the sea. But Moses couldn't hold it any longer. So the sea closed while the Eboes were still crossing it. The water then brought them all the way from Egypt to River Niger where they settle down in South East

How old are you??
