Birth rate should be massively controlled or massive shift to manufacturing, especially in third world countries. Nigeria is heading for the rocks if we dont make a change..

I dont want to sound like an doomsayer, but a world war maybe looming and only a massive depopulation of the world would balance out life. Maybe the reason for the (covid 19)...

Before the advent of AI(Artificial intelligence), countries must go to lesser countries to setup factories and companies to earn more while employing, developing and training the lesser countries in return.. (The Manufacturing era 1980 to 2000)

With the Advent of technology, they no longer need to come down, develop and train... they can earn and drain your forex directly with a single app. (App development 2000 till date, Amazon/Aliexpress), seeing that these lesser countries are no longer beneficial (crude oil to electric), borders would be closed and point based immigration would be employed to seive out those who can help it. (US, Canada, UK, Australia)

Verdict:... resources of developing nations would be drained so bad with very serious unemployment (e.g 35m Nigerians unemployed) using introduced technology from developed worlds leading to major crisis (terrorism, insecurity, anarchy), they would run into massive debt while becoming insolvent (Africa, india, Sri Lanka, venezuela) to an eventual take over, there would be serious revolt from developing nations due to the renewed slave mentality from developed nations (china / American domination and racism on blacks) that would trigger a world war which would massively reduce population to bring about a balance again, or a pandemic to wipe off quarter of the human race...

Start with National Assembly. Make it a Unicameral legislature or at least slash their salaries/Allowances by 60%.
The monies this country has lost in the name of Constitutional projects. Oh God.
That place is an event center , most of them are come, chop and go attendees.

Also, the Oronsaye Report should also be implemented Asap.

They can start from there.
The real problem is, will the NASS rogues ever vote to make themselves redundant?

Nigeria government in a short note
Our so called government (leaders) are fooling Nigerians.
For instance, let take a battery as an example for NG, Nigeria (money) is just like a battery, our government are draining the battery instead of improvising on what the battery will be useful to the country.

The debate should be on (money) battery policy, lets make a call for the govs, lawmakers, politicians, armed forces to stop using our batteries without charging it. It will take million years before Nigeria can be like the (US), so let us stop comparing with other nations.

Name just one country where legislatures recieve the type of bogus salaries and renumerations they pay their Nigerian counterparts?
Size is different from efficiency. The military ruled this same size with provisional ruling council that consists of few officers, why can't we cut down the legislature?

This talk talk and no action is the reason why Nnamdi kanu and his followers want out of this contraption.

Like I said in all my posts

It's not the number that is the problem

It is the remuneration

Mordecai:
At first, they told us we needed a Sovereign National conference.

At some point, constitutional amendment.

Then GEJ held a National Conference, after which his government courageously allowed a little progressive change in the electoral system, and as a result of that change, lost power to them.

They then ridiculed the National Conference to no end. They threw away the outcome of the conference, stated that Nigeria is okay as currently structured. That our only problem is corruption. That PDP's misrule for 16 years was our worst mistake.
They said we do not need restructuring, that State Police is unnecessary. That our Police is enough.
They defended Baba's 97%/5% policy. They made appointments dependent on what tribe's genes you carry. That merit doesn't matter when the President loves Nigeria, is well-intentioned, and is fighting corruption.
At a point, an independent legislature became the scapegoat for our national problems. Because Baba needs the support of everyone in government. Dissenting views aren't welcome.

Today, Baba owns the legislature. Yet, for some reason, these legislators are still the problem, because they won't vote themselves out of existence.

Now that it's clear that nothing is working, what do they tell us? That we need a NATIONAL DEBATE.

Back to square one. National Conference Debate.

Please, how did they convince anyone that they'll be good for Nigeria?
Well said bro!

What Nigeria needs now is to go our separate ways without war! This current system of governance has not, will not, ever work! Divide the country and let everyone grow at their own pace! The center cannot hold this British Experiment!

Quote me bro.

If Nigeria is not sustainably fixed before we decide to go our separate ways, the separate entities will not see peace.
Why? We're too interwoven in many aspects forcefully and painfully forged...therefore, undoing that will not be fun.

We must have it in our minds that the further we divide or break, the better for our common adversaries: France, UK, US, China.

Nigeria is a threat to the continued neo-colonization of Francophone West and Central Africa till today, not Biafra, nor Yoruba, ...

We can form federated states with very weak centre.

The world population is unsustainable compared to the rate technology is advancing.. it is supposed to be a gradual process just the way automated manufacturing took over production from manual labour majorly between (1991 till date), but AI is moving really fast without resonance to death rate, which is why unemployment is on the rise in the world generally, with developing nations having the most redundant of the population, while the developed worlds with the technology can afford to pay unemployed pallatives and lending loans to developing nations (Nigeria, SA, India) to pay their people.. its suppose to be a gradual increase in AI, alongside gradual increase in death rate. where both don't balance out, there is always a drastic measure to ensure that balance, which could either be (war or pandemic) since technology cannot be restrained...

You would have noticed a very gradual shift to electric powered vehicles, not because the coys cant produce all its cars in electric and force it on people, but Govts are restraining them, so developing countries dont loose their benefits 100% at a go..
when they loose their means of income with you draining all their resources to buy your cheaper items due to technology, where do they run to, they would only turn back to fight you when you have exhausted your loans.

The manufacturing Era brought about massive employment, wages were at its utmost high and the world needed workers, Visa lotteries were everywhere, Immigration policies were easy, scholarships were everywhere... there was a boom in birthrate because wages were high and such gives room for excess birthrate.. it was going good until the advent of technology, technology has taken those jobs but the new population as a result of the birthrate cannot just be waved off..

The pointbased immigration was introduced to limit migration, lotteries abolished, Visa Grant's becoming stiffer etc...

Lesser countries are no longer beneficial because with a single App, you can buy an item directly from china and it would be delivered to you, the factory need not establish here like it used to be, while the massive shift from crude to electric would make countries whom crude is its main export redundant over time..

so you are telling us because crude oil is no longer beneficial because of electric cars, they will stop immigration?
so the only reason for immigration was because they were buying crude oil from us, i see ?

so as long as economy is good, i can marry many women and give birth to hundreds of children. that's nice!
