What made faulks road a federal road? An internal road in Aba is what you clowns are calling federal road. This is the reason Aba is a shithole, because every blame is shifted elsewhere where Abia state government continues to loot everything

I might be wrong, but the road has been rebuilt by Ikpeazu. His media team sef no sabi work. They should borrow a leaf from Umahi's publicists and showcase Ikpeazu's works

1000km of concrete roads in ebonyi? if this isnt sensentionalism on your part, that's a good one from ebonyi -their government is a class act-but I bet you even he can't totally reconstruct enugu -ph road.
Oga from aba to enugu is a distance of over 100km, from Aba to ph is a distance of over 40 km.
On an average, we are talking of reconstruction of a 100km road, dual carriageway of two or 3 lane per carriageway, with a bridge on the ph border, a flyover at Aloji section and earth reinforcing.

Don't believe me actually do some research, it's costing the federal government over 150 billion to construct the abia section of the road!!!!
Can Abia afford to reconstruct such road? with state funds hell no. Anambra and enugu couldn't reconstruct the anambra to enugu fed road, what Anambra government did was to do sections within their urban Areas -thats what Abia can do. Abia can't definitely do that whole road.
thankfully the fed are working on that road and are very close to aba -the Chinese firm handling the ph section are at work within the obigbo axis.

what some of you want is for us to join you in bemoaning Aba (that's the basis of all this denigration ) and before you go off I would point out that currently aba road umuahia, aba-owerri road aba, the nnpc depot road aba are all Federal roads being done with state funds. Newmap is also handling the ph road aba (another Federal road)

I wonder where you got the notion that I am denigrating Aba. I am Nwa Aba at heart. I never said that Abia should reconstruct the whole stretch of the express road to Enugu and PH ; I mentioned the main arterial road in Aba, which connects you to anywhere you want to go to in Aba. It's only 14KM long end to end from Osisioma junction to Alaoji through town. The other stretch is from Osisioma (Old toll gate area) express stretch to Alaoji, which is about 16KM long, making a total of 30KM. Faulks road is not a Federal road. I am happy to see that some Aba roads are getting repaired but Okezie has been a total failure and you know it. Aba is dear to every Igbo man and we know that poor governance has hindered the potentials of this awesome city.

How do you feel when people whose states cannot lace Abia's shoes heap all sorts of insults on Abia because the useless governors are busy playing federal and state politics with the roads while looting the state dry? Look at the increment to Abia debt burden since 2015 and tell me it is commensurate with the progress made by the state. Okezie deserves to rot in jail alongside Orji and Kalu

Its insane that people are defending the indefensible. Alaoji to Osisioma is a short distance that is so important to the city of Aba. Anybody in their right mind knows that any state govt that wants to boost GDP and revenue would repair this stretch in 6 months and bill the federal govt.

The state government fools Aba residents by telling them Faulks road is federal road, Uratta is federal road, Port Harcourt road is federal road etc all while sharing the states allocation between T.A Orji, his son, and Ikpeazu & his minions

Igbo people get insulted left and right by people from towns and places who have nothing on Aba all because of the wickedness of Abia's leaders.
Nowhere outside of Lagos in Nigeria has anything on Aba. It breaks my heart what is happening to Aba which is the Lagos of the east.

You can even loot and still make Aba a juggernut but the wicked men controlling the state are so heartless. They see the citizens as conquered slaves who cannot do anything to stop their criminality

No politician is a saint. They all steal one way or the other. There is a notion that a one eyed man is king in the land of the blind. If OUK (who all his fellow thieves except Ikpeazu and Abaribe has been paying homage too) and T.A Orji did half Ikpeazu's current achievement, Aba for be small London by now. Don't get me wrong, he has his flaws, yes but he's our best so far

I usually ignore hoodlums and they can continue to write and respond to their own ignorance a thousand times with many monikers, until they wear themselves out. But, i briefly looked through your profile and i'm not sure if you are writing out of sincerity. So i'll respond just once.

I am different from you paid hatchet writers because i neither care if the politician is in APC, PDP or APGA. Nor if the state is Abia, Ebonyi or Anambra. I am ONLY concerned about the development of Igboland. I don't even read thread outside my area of interest because it concerns people from that region.

Aba is perhaps the greatest Igbo city, yet it was neglected by successive Abia governors since 1999 beginning with Orji Uzor Kalu! Thus, responsible Igbo people have continued to condemn and openly expose the foolhardiness of neglecting Aba, the greatest city with the greatest potential to propel the Abia state, massively increase the IGR, and lead the industrial renaissance of the entire SE region, and opting to focus on developing other mushroom towns in Abia state.

If Abia Governor turn a new leaf and begin a massive urban renewal of Aba instead of senseless propaganda on the internet with half educated brats, then i will openly acknowledge and praise their new attitude towards Aba. Again, i totally don't care if you repost, insult, cajole or do whatever you like about my post. It doesn't change my opinion nor will it make me to lie on your behalf in my next post unless i verify that indeed the roads have been fixed.

Good fo you and your likes, simply eat the humble pie. Aba won't transform overnight. Be optimistic rather than being pathetic.

that was my reply to you earlier, please read it well this time around .As for your last paragraph we agree .Once again, this thread isn't to claim ABA is an eldorado a claim that can easily be busted,it isn't about the present governor of the state (even though most roads on this thread was built by him) .This is about showing the good side of ABA to the public -to correct some misnomers which it is actually doing.Everyone seems to think ABA is Dead while we are gradually rebounding in terms of infrastructure, industry and human capital development.
you don't even know the city you are dragging about (don't even refute it again because if you don't know that enugu-ph road you pass through isn't the road ABA is built around then you actually don't know anything ! do you even know that, that road doesn't in anyway pass through the ABA North and South lgas ? do you know when that road was actually built ?)

If you think we should stop posting real pictures of the city to humor or give credit to your assertions? then my brother it isn't going to happen

Why is there a heavy dose of mistrust in this thread?

I always look to see how many likes for the pictures, but its almost none? Sometimes, one or two.
I think there is still a huge credibility gap with the Abia thread postings of improvements in Aba. It appears the urban roads are being worked on and gradually being repaired as evident in this video.

My prayer is that this great city finally gets some urban renewal to restore its greatness and lost glory.
