Are you saying all the broof roofs house in your region have been destroyed?

They are less than 5% of any city in the SE unlike the SW where they constitute over 90% of the cities.

Lagos, Ibadan, Abeokuta, Ogbomosho etc. all have worse slums than Aba. The only difference is that while Igbos often post their own bad areas as a way of calling out our governors, you guys on the other hand would rather hide yours and suffer in silence.

From what has been posted in these pictures, it is obvious that Abeokuta is still a glorified village.

You are saying nonsense. Igbo land is a shithole with total decadence. Aba is an eyesore and you can’t find that kind of filthy dirty slum in Ogbomoso or Abeokuta.

Aba where people live in dirtiness and sell things while cohabiting with filthy dirts.

Enugu is over 60% brown roofs. Just go on Google Earth now and search for it to validate my statement. You guys are shameless liars that always attribute perfection even when your zone is in decadence.

The whole 5 SE states is just as big as Oyo State. The Igbo has that much population and you can’t turn your small city to an eldorado.

Now imagine the whole Yoruba population living in the tiny SE states and see how they will turn it around and make it an envy of the nation.

I was checking the other time, the whole Owerri land size is just almost as one local government in Ibadan. Imagine that!

Ekoile, I asked you earlier, is Abeokuta older than Lagos or even Onitsha? How can you say that backwardness is your rich historic background? Poverty is not the same thing as being pious.

Onitsha is the only partially developed tiny place in Igboland.Onitsha is only 52 square km.Not more than 2 GRAs in Abeokuta,Ogun state.

Ogun state is more developed than Anambra and IMO states combined.

Don't mind Proeast ooo.
imagine add the whole allocations of SE to Oyo state, it's 10x higher than Oyo state.
they have almost equal landmass

Yet, SE isn't Dubai.
If Oyo state is divided into 5 States they think it won't developed more than that

I don't know why you guys like making dum.b comparisons. Landmass has no bearing in making a place to develop, rather development is a factor of human capital development.

Gambia has a very small landmass relative to Botswana yet they are far behind Botswana. Djibouti is far smaller than Kenya yet Kenya is miles ahead of them in terms of development.

France is far larger than Portugal, United States is far larger than Mexico, Brazil is far larger than Peru yet these countries are more developed than their smaller counterparts.

Tufiakwa, there is nothing you guys will not use as excuse to defend your backwardness.

Even though SW is far far developed than SE... Still there is no need for comparison..

If you guys can't develop that tiny land of yours, then nobody will be ready to engage with you people

Lol, if they tell you there's no brown roof in igbo land, that's a big fat lie cheesy

It's not as much as SW I admit, Buh Dem get am.

And reason why their is low is because of 2 things.

1. War
2. Land (They build storey buildings because of cost of land over there (that's because their land is small))

Just look at the sort of uninformed argument you guys are making, after you all will claim to be educated.

What does having uninhabited wastelands got to do with development?

Are you people building roads, schools, boreholes etc. inside those uninhabited jungles?

Take a look at your cities and tell me if you can count up to three high rise residential buildings in your streets. Littering everywhere with cheap bungalows and claiming that your city is large is nonsense.

Eastern cities can comfortably have 20,000 people per square killometer due to good land use unlike SW rustic towns where shanties are scattered everywhere.

After Abeokuta that is well developed in terms of road construction, and which has been the focus of past Governments, do we have other areas that has good road network? yes no doubt it's becoming another commercial hub center in Nigeria, my challenge with Ogun state is the road network, agbara, ewekoro, ifo, ota is densely populated yet the masses go through hell daily with the dilapidated roads, the sight is really disheartening and a turn off.. I will love the administration of His Excellency to also focus on other local Government aforementioned, cheers!

Oga, I've told you before that I schooled in the East.
You can't be telling me what I know and I've seen.

In the East, cost of land is very high, because of your landmass.

Your 8million one plot of land is like 500k here.
Here in the west, you will see 1plot for 180k
so what are you saying

Your high rise buildings is because of cost of Land.

You just nailed why SW is richer and more developed than the entire Igboland.plentifold.
Only Ogun state has more universities, industries etc than the entire tiny and undeveloped Igboland.

Onitsha is the only partly developed place in Igboland and it is only 52 square km that means that only about 2% has seen little development.

What is the brain in building high rise building for residential purposes if there is land? Even in USA, most residential area are in form of bungalow, duplex, or one stores building.

Most of the high rise buildings are concentrated in downtown areas and there are also some high rise apartments in downtown areas due to land constraints and the need to service business districts. They have lifts and amenities to make life easy.

In the SW for example, if you build 4 stores building in hopes of renting it out, you won’t see customer because people detest renting the top floor of the building because of the uneasiness in climbing stairs daily.

Bungalow and duplex is more better if there is land. No noisy environment, no unnecessary climbing of stairs. No issue where kids will have to go and fetch water and carry it up the stairs, Choked up houses without proper ventilation. The SE multi-storey building is urban slum that I won’t even live there for free. Chucked up with haggard looks.

Moreso, SE is just a tiny land that needs to accommodate that much population of igbos. So the best way to optimize land is to build stores buildings or else all of you will be like Fulani Herdsmen migrants in other Nigerian states. Although you’re already nomadic tho!

Asbestos Exposure/Asbestos Cancer

Asbestos Cancer

Asbestos cancers are caused by inhaling or swallowing microscopic asbestos fibers. The term “asbestos cancer” most often refers to mesothelioma. Several other malignancies are linked to asbestos exposure including lung cancer, ovarian cancer and cancer of the voice box.

Asbestos-related lung cancer kills twice as many Americans each year as mesothelioma. Asbestos exposure is the primary cause of about 4% of lung cancer cases.

ipob, asbestos is carcinogenic and it's already been banned all over the world, there's something called Mesothelioma, it's an aggressive and rare cancer caused by exposure to asbestos.

Asbestors Mesothelioma compensation fund today is $30 billion to pay the victims of asbestos exposure.
