what the hell do you people want gàngàn??

somebody was jejely posting abeokuta images and you guys came with your usual bad blood and and now you're telling him to stop replying you ?

nawa oo.

I'm not a "tribalist" like you people. Fortunately for me, I was born in England, so I wasn't imparted with any of the backwardness the average Nigerian was. I showed drone video footage of abeokuta, created by natives (Yoruba) of the land. It's a common tourist destination in Nigeria. So you don't need to show oscure pictures of the place.

That other guy, is the one who started derailing the threat, by showing Google earth pictures, of poor communities in Enugu State - what does that have to do with the beauty of Abeokuta?

Here in Osun is far better than anambra...

They only show us fine pictures but all na lies

As I've said countless times before. YOUTUBE is your friend, you can see live footage of all these places. Much better than showing selective pictures.

how the hell did Igbo people develop coloured photography tech in 1909?

how the hell were those 1940 style buses already in igboland?

can't you see those images are from the 60's?

nawa for Igbo people oo... tomorrow now they will be screaming 'ibadan Express way Ewedu Statistics' .

whether you were born in Pluto is not the issue.
you came here (just like your other brothers) to dispute the location of the images.

some were even blatantly telling him to prove they were actually abeokuta images.

I'm pretty sure you have little idea of what 'derailing' means.

you chose to ignore the first set of people mocking the op and his pictures and also bringing in ENUGU INTO THE DISCOURSE claiming it was miles ahead of abeokuta.

boy don't play no victim card here.
sit this out.

This same Ogun state ranks better than all Igbo states in all aspects.

I was in Abuja a while ago, I saw ghettos, I saw places that shouldn't be in a capital city.

The almighty Lagos State house one of the biggest slums in the world.

Capetown is the most Developed city in the whole of Africa and almost 1 million are living in the slum (in the most Developed city in Africa) actually the second biggest slum in the world.

same with Nairobi, Kenya which house the biggest slum (fact)

Are you saying your Cities in igboland are more Developed than Capetown, Nairobi, Lagos, Johannesburg?

because the way you guys rant online, it seems everywhere in igboland looks like New York times square.

can any of your states beat Ogun in development?

I never derailed the thread, in fact, I tried to help the thread, by showing video footage of the state. Some good videos at that. So let's stick with Abeokuta. As I said before, Ogun is better than Oyo State.

Forget about Enugu. Igbo people are not interested in Yorubaland - trust me on that.

Shut up and stop displaying your inferiority complex. Who cares if you are born in England? Is than an achievement?

We created a thread of our own cities and you come on here to derail the thread with toursit center. I went to show you the pictures of Enugu city that is over 60% brownroof while you turn back crying that you are not a tribalist.

You are shameless and a great hypocrite. Did they use rope to drag you to this thread in the first place?

Mind you Enugu is listed as one of the poverty capital of theSouth after Ebonyi. Poor braggarts people with inferiority complex.

To the mod that banned me, good job. You see these guys derailing the thread and when I countered them you banned my moniker and removed some of the pics while you leave them alone. Continue!

Shameless liar. One thing about you Igbos is that you don't play by the rule and lying is seen as a way of life to you.

When did an Igbo start helping a Yoruba on their own thread? Can you listen to yourself?

Whether Ogun is better than Osun or Ondo is none of your concern. They are all Yoruba states and we win and lose together.

However, Oyo state cannot be compared to Enugu is all indices. Is it about Industries, Road structure, Housing estates, Higher Institutions, Poverty metrics, IGR, GDP, and etc.

How exactly is Enugu better than Oyo state?

Igbo states have tons of Yoruba people in them. In Anambra and Imo state, you'll find several Yoruba people in office.

Nope, just stating a fact. Oyo needs serious redevelopment. Ogun is not so bad, though I still have an issue with the lack of political will to slum clearance. What are they afraid of, not getting votes?

Enugu need serious development instead. It used to be the capital of Eastern Region and it is an eyesore. No industrial capacity, no bearing whatsoever, no development, and it is a shame that it was listed as top poverty capital of the South in the NBS lasr report.

Tell your people to stop running away from their land like refugees to Yorubaland and causing a pressure on our resources. Instead of advisong a prosperous Oyo state, try to advise the poverty capital called Enugu first.

It's just jealousy. Yoruba people can't compete with Igbo people. There's nothing special or remarkable about Yoruba people, that's why they're never mentioned as such, by any independant or neutral bodies. If Yoruba peolpe were their own nation, they'd be no better than Benin (the current country).

Stop lying, you are just another low self esteem and insecure hateful ipob bigot running from one Yoruba thread to the next to confirm how bitter, hateful, bigoted and disgusting you are.

Igbo states have tons of Yoruba people in them. In Anambra and Imo state, you'll find several Yoruba people in office.
Just a percentage of Yoruba's going with 50 million as the population would amount to 500,000 yourba's. I'm pretty sure not up to 500k Yoruba's are in the South East. My people don't populate where they are not welcome.
Many Yoruba white collar workers are always transferred to the east to oversee various tasks.
That doesn't translate to migration. They only work there for a few years and are transferred again.

rdokoye:

Nope, just stating a fact. Oyo needs serious redevelopment
Oyo is in need of development just like the rest of Nigeria is plagued with a serious infrastructural deficit.
But that doesn't change the fact that Oyo state packs more economic punch than most of the south east states. wink

Nothing I wrote exemplified bigotry or any of those other negative words you want to proscribe to me. I'm Igbo, and I have a healthy sense of self. All groups feel their group is better than others. That's normal and natural.

Yorubaland is my land. You can call Igboland your land, it doesn't bother me in the slightest. For as long as we're one country, I and all other Nigerians are entitled to every part of it, irrespective of our ethnic origin. If you don't like the idea of Nigeria, then start your own secessionist movement. But don't be a hypocrite. I see many people on here criticizing IPOB, while at the same time promoting segregation - the scientific term for that line of thinking is cognitive dissonance.
