The day i was informed that my department's result has been posted..i could remember i was about flexing my concotion rice back in my hostel in school and we've waited for almost a month for this result.so!

there is nothing to teach, the scratch cards are sold in supermarkets or corner shops, they sell the cards ranging from £1, £2, £4, £5 and £20. you buy the card of your choice, scratch it and see if you ve won a price money. that's all. I was just lucky that's all, one man even won £4 million after buying a £20 scratch card.

Most of my good news have always been from my education. The day I got scholarship for my WAEC exam, the day I got for NECO exam and the day I got for UTME. I instantly thought God was cooking something for me.

The following year, I applied an international scholarship, which at the last hour of its conclusion, I got to know it wasn't gonna work for me because of some of their conditions that, it is mandatory we come to Africa after graduation to contribute to the development of the continent within a frame of 10-year.

That same year, I got an admission[on scholarship] to study in a private university in Nigeria. I'm in my penultimate year, awaiting other amazing events to unfold.

My first job exam!!!, We where told that the exams have been administered to two sets of candidates (a month ago), with each set not less than 30, all couldn't make it except 1 candidate, and they needed 5 more. We where actually the third set. The company was actually determined to continue inviting candidates till they get the right people.
After our exams, the took all of us to have some good lunch, when we got back, the results where ready. So the deal was if your name was called, you wait behind for immediate interview, the rest should go home.
Omo, six people where successful in all, as they called the first, second and the third was me... Oboy, the feeling was out of this world. Went for the interview, and came out shining, was called two weeks later to go for medicals, and a week later I resumed.
A bank I went for their exams a couple of weeks earlier called me for next stage the same day I resumed my current job, I told the HR, madam sorry oo, I no dey interested again


NB: chai, I been suffer before that period sha, wetin I no do (legit), I follow my guy dey produce paint, formalin and ammonia wan kill me.
We go still hustle try paint the house ourselves, man for fall from 2 storey building.

When I passed Part 2 MBBS exams! Only medical students will understand the type of joy that comes with passing MB exams, especially 400L and 600L .

So ? Are you the first to event write and pass the exam? Only God knows how you passed your M1S1 afterwards. I'm sure you didn't even finish, you were weeded in 600L and only passed that Part 1 MB after you repeated a class.

I think mine would be when I applied for direct entry into a prestigious federal university in Nigeria. On the day of the exam, I saw different guys with geek glasses and nerdy looks who also applied for same course. I was scared AF, I thought I won't even make it because I heard the department needed just 10 folks.
Checked my result a week later and asked a staff in the admission department what the cutoff mark was, he lied to me so I can ask him to help me work it but I was convinced within me that I was gonna make it, and besides I'm the type of person who believes in earning your victory through hardwork. The following Saturday, I woke up, checked my status and the first few words were "Congratulations on your admission.....", I didn't even bother to read the rest, I screamed inaudible so as not to wake the others. I printed my result and walked around with it all day, so people would ask me " Guy, wetin you ho' for hand?" and then I'd be like "Omo, na just blah blah blah".
I know this year and the following years to come there'd be good news that won't make me eat for at least 48hrs.

It happend a few weeks back. My bro called me he got an appointment with FIRS a job he never applied for never did follow up and got his appointment letter directly from the executive chairman. I was super exiceted. He was lucky to be selected among 10 pple based on recommendations from a friend. It was just like I a dream. I was so happy the hunger dissappear we spoke for over 45 mins. Alhamdullilah!

Congratulations to your brother and the family. However this here shows the rot in our country Nigeria. Someone got a job in a top agency such as FIRS without any form of advert made (as we didn't hear of any public recruitment in FIRS recently), no application, test, interview or any assessment whatsoever just recommendation to come and start work. Seeing your username, I could understand the part of the country you're from and why such happened. It's well with this country.
