Many words in European dialects, particularly English are loan words from Yoruba lexicon.

There are credible theories that suggest EUROPA may have been a mispronounced or dialectical mis-rendition of YORUBA.

Brazil don't adopt yorubá a official language. Just a wrong translate. People are so ignorant. Why does stupid people believe that a multirracial country like Brazil adopt yorubá a official language? Brazil is a former Portuguese colony one of most multirracial country in the world. Ridiculous that nigerians believe in Brazil only exist Yorubas and people of African descent. A person who believe that a country like Brazil have a official African language is ridiculous. Brazil is not a African country to have a official African language. Brazil is a former Portuguese colony. The only second official language in Brazil is indigenous language. Nigerians don't know translate Portuguese. Patrimônio cultural (Portuguese) is cultural patrimony. Don't official language.

I live here genius. Brazil have a lot of ethnic groups than black people. Asians, a lot of white people more than 60 millions whites , arabs, Gypsies, hispanics, indigenous etc.. etc... Is ridiculous believe that Brazil adopt a African language with a official language. If Brazil have many other ethnic groups. 5 seconds search in Google people know the only official language in Brazil is Portuguese ( and indigenous language). Only african countries have africans official language. Brazil is a multirracial country with a huge black population. Brazil is not a African country.

Brazil don't adopt yorubá a official language. Brazil honoured yorubá a cultural patrimony of Brazil. African Brazilians are a important heritage of Brazil but is not the only. this is disrespectul towards other brazilians ethnic groups who formed Brazil. And Brazil is a Latin American country. Ridiculous assumption of Nigeria if not all brazilians are black and Brazil is a multirracial country. Nigeria think that in Brazil only live blacks?
