You were employed and told you will exit in 24months.

1. What did you do with your money and time?
2. A good number had other jobs while others had spare time to do other things
3. Let's stop depending on the government for everything

You are ignorant.

Government parastals don't have quality manpower... What they have is old, mediocre civil servants everywhere.

Some public primary/schools have only 5 permanent staff (Principal/HM vice principal, 3 teachers) for a while school.

Some state governments have not recruit teachers as far back as 2005.... Their rural schools are relying on semi-literate community teachers to function.

The government is supposed to consolidate and build on Existing Npower beneficiaries... I mean, add more, not disengage.

Nigeria Army/Navy/Airforce recruit every year ... Npower can accommodate Batch A-Z if the government can think of of the box but they're just lazy.

Osinbajo/Afolabi/Maryam Uwais successfully managed Npower for three and half years without much issues.

But Sadiya Umar farouk, within few months, she wants to destroy everything because she can't think/innovate or she has personal sentiments.

So it's not really that Npower batch A, B,C,D is not feasible together... It's just that Sadiya Umar farouk is hell bent of sending them away.

THE BIG QUESTION REMAINS...WHICH BUHARI ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT HERE NOW

Black African... reason for once...you ain't got anybody there...but a fellow disguised in a mask...is so unfortunate...nigga-area has been so reduced to a joke ...see our promising destinies begging for a meagre ₦30k...chaiiiii...while the wicked and vicious rulers keep stashing these billions among them cronies... telling you FG can't afford these and that...for the average man...i weep for this corntree and the people...

I guess we love suffering and self-deception...what a lowest low have they subjected the masses to...

#SOLUTION REMAINS BALKANIZE THIS DEMONIC CONTRAPTION ...SO THAT THE VICTIMS CAN BE FREE, TO DEVELOP A WORKABLE GOVERNMENT AND SOCIETY FOR HER CITIZENS.

QED.
The truth remains it is an empowerment programme not a permanent job, let them go for others to come in simple

You are pained because you are not a beneficiary. It is the responsibility of government to socially protect her citizens or is it because we have a failed state..how much have they looted in this few years. The amount if utilized could have solved some of these problems we are encountering

If you wanna make a sensible argument, I would gladly oblige, if you wanna throw tantrums or insults, I'm also gonna be there for you.

Let's be rational (use your brain) for once. Did the federal government give a 2yr duration for the programme or not??

What is fundamentally wrong here if not for Nigerians that despise due process?

When Sure-P by Jonathan came out, did you know anybody personally or from your village as a whole that participated? Why didn't you rant and make noise then?

Is it because Buhari is the most transparent president ever that you guys wanna make noise?

Reply me with facts and not tantrums.

What I don't understand is why you think 1000 naira per day for two years can really empower anyone in Nigeria. They're greedy for receiving 1k naira per day for two years, according to you. But those stealing their future are what exactly? Your future too! U go receive sense one day

Don't mind the guy, ask him what he did with his NYSC money for one year if he is a graduate.

I personally don't expect nothing from this fraudulent govt. The agreement was to b engaged for 24 months, I don't see a reason to protest.

Greedy people. 600k for what exactly? Don't you people know how to read agreements?

They probably shouldn't have taken the offer in the first place in my opinion.

The government can do better, you know it, I know it. There's always room for improvements. We know the situation as it is today with the covid-19 effects everywhere!

So many things are wrong in this country especially unemployment, the Buhari government is really trying in that regard.

His jobs creation policy still sucks. And I hope you know that I'm one of the topmost followers of Buhari here, just that my popular moniker is under 2 months ban.
His infrastructural developments policy is better and revenue generation derives and the likes are also better though.

How many have benefitted from government before Buhari came in? Sure-P by Jonathan was a huge fraud but nobody complained.

People complained about Jonathan's economic policy, even here. I did. That's partly why he didn't get second term, complains and protest votes. But many people benefitted from SUREP GIS, I did. And his greatest achievement in jobs creation still remains his YouWin scheme. I don't know why Buhari and his advisers couldn't take that path. This one they're doing and releasing fake statistics of the number self employed among the outgoing beneficiaries is what we knew Nigerian governments for, over the years.

Let them do their 2yrs and allow others do theirs.

It has ended and they're out already but we just need to remind ourselves that the problem is still there and the time bomb is ticking while we are busy releasing fake statistics

Lol. What many people don't understand is that N500,000 grant or loan is better than N1,000,000 given to you at rate of N1,000 per day for 3 years.

WHAT STOP NDDC AND OTHER STATE BODIES LIKE DESOPADEC, EDOSOPADEC etc FROM ESTABLISHING THEIR OWN NPOWER PROGRAMMES FOR YOUTH IN THE NIGER DELTA REGION.

Everything should not be left in the hands of the federal government, state government and local government.

We need another NPOWER Programme that is managed by the state and local government.

All we hear is NO MONEY ! NO MONEY ! but public officers are stealing this money using fictitious contract.

i learnt that Katsina state is running her own NPOWER for thier

Let me put it straight to you because some idiots just come online to comment on an issue they know nothing about.

Far back in 2016, Nigeria Government launched this Npower scheme.
There are five categories under this scheme namely
1. Nteach
2. Nhealth.
3. Nagro
4. Nbuild and
5. Ntech.

As a graduate of less than 35 years, you are to apply for category of your qualifications.
The duration of the program, as advertised then, is two years with #30,000 monthly stipend, after which, THE GOVERNMENT WILL EMPOWER THE BENEFICIARIES AND EXIT THEM.
Npower beneficiaries are full time workers. We have them in my school and they teach core subjects.
Now, after 3 years of volunteerism, THE GOVERNMENT FAILED TO EMPOWER THEM AS PROMISED BUT ONLY EXITED THEM JUST TO RECRUIT ANOTHER VOLUNTEERS.
Does that make sense?
Is it too much for the beneficiaries to ask for what government promised them?.
Of what impact is the creation of 774,000 jobs when you are sending 500,000 graduates back to the street?.

Government said Batch A exit the program by ending of June 2020 while Batch B exit by ending of July 2020.
As at today 26th July, your government has not paid both batches their June stipend, talk less of July own, the painful aspect is that, half of beneficiaries have not received March, April and May stipend.

For those of you who are happy that this government is providing jobs for her citizens with #30k monthly stipend, I wish you soonest recovery.

May God bless you and your entire family for saying it as it is....my heart bleeds when I see some people's comments here. I for one never missed my classes, worked diligently all through with the hope that the government will keep it's promises. Now serious and dedicated volunteers are being mocked by the few volunteers who don't attend PPA's. What the government should have done is to fashion out a modality to get the hardworking volunteers and absorb the hardworking volunteers. This will encourage upcoming batches
