jagorinho: I don't think you have followed my comments very well, if your appetite was not to castigate Igbos then you could have seen where I condemned the situation .....but you were busy laughing it out and cutting off the truth as well..... Do you think the son deserves to show such picture? But due to the level of impunity in this country, he he has swallowed the shame of his own locality to condemn another state.... I will even appreciate it more if it were you that pointed out this gory image.....do you get my point now? |

Abia has the most hardworking youths in Nigeria... If only their government provides good roads, light, basic infrastructures then no other state would see their back in terms of development and productions. |

spendoon:Am from Niger Delta not easy, so do u want to compare kaduna with akwa ibom, or Delta or port harcourt? Besides what's even in kaduna that u cannot compare south east with. The biggest market in west Africa is in South East, imo state is way finer than kaduna. All south east state are more industrial than kaduna. What we have in kaduna are school of aviation Zaria, NDA, police academy and many other federal government project. Without the federal government kaduna is nothing. Imagine federal government now wants to take gas from Niger Delta to kaduna. Even with all the favor u get from federal government u guys are still just there, nothing really spectacular about the so called kaduna. |

YorubaRitualist:You slowpoke we compereing indusriain and economic activities leave the education for another day, now let me bombadb you with facts. * It is no doubt that abia is more indusrilized than kaduna due to the useless past government of the state but that is fast changing as kaduna I'd now focusing on agro allied industries and 50% of investment in Nigeria 2020 we're in kaduna. * Even with your stupid ABA and onitsha( two most industrialized igbo cities) in one state what is your igr compered to that of kaduna ahbi you want prove neh * Infastructure wise it's a no go zone, wen it comes to shopping malls, flyovers, high-rise buildings, I mean your state is like 20 years left behind it will take Nigerias Budget to transform your dead cities. I will save the other points for the nigger below |

spendoon:Lol..if you want to see dead cities then take a look at the likes of Kaduna and Kano that has been overriden by illiterates, almajiri, terrorists and fulani kidnappers..Nigeria budgets have been wasted on those states trying to eliminate them of those vicea but it keeps getting worst by the day. What is the use of flyovers and malls when it's only almajirs and terrorists that the whole place is filled up with. BTW,the likes of Enugu and IMO has more malls than Kaduna and Kano state and looks modern than the two. Even ebonyi state has built more flyovers than Kaduna state. |

Nairalandmonika:First I know you are not a SS person and I can see your pain but let me burst your bubble, gas will be taken to kaduna because it proven to worth it, just like other states in the SW, what are you even demanding when you dint vote the present government. I can see you are using the whole SE against kaduna but let me finish you, imo is in no way finner than kaduna, are you mad? watin dey Imo please prove it with at least pictures, you think I don't know Imo neh and aside abia non of your dead states in the east is more industrial then kaduna, are you mad again? please don't argue blindly show us prove. |

spendoon:Am from South south, Delta state warri south west, ugborodo community to be precise, am an itsekiri guy. If u check my past comment u will see I have made this claim many times. If am from South East i will tell u, there's nothing to be ashamed of. Everyone is proud of were they come from. northerners have beef with the whole south, not just south east, don't think Niger Delta people are cool with u. U are asking of pictures as if u provided any of the things u claim. It's a known fact that south east is more industrial than the north. Anyone that think otherwise is mad. There was a trend on nairaland about imo state, I have not even been to imo, but I have been to kaduna, kebbi, sokoto, there's pretty much nothing in the north apart from kanu n kaduna. That's y am talking of kaduna. With that trend on imo and what I saw in kaduna, I can tell u imo is finer than kaduna. U are the one that said we should use kaduna to compare south east not me. So I gave u my answer. Don't expect me to provide pictures of south east when I don't live there, if u want to see south east u can travel there or Google it. |

Nairalandmonika:you have been brain washed by the igbos then, we don't have any beef with the SS and SW, you don't live in kaduna or the south east and you want to argue with me? Ok I can't provide any recent pictures of kaduna because the whole city is under construction but this are a few old photos 1st pic leventis roundabout (2015), now demolished because a world class underpass is under construction there. 2nd pic around kaduna city area(2015) the roads are there are been expanded so I can post a recent picture 3rd pic kaduna city Now please this are photos of kaduna as far back as 2015, abia and Imo states in 2020 don't come close to kaduna of then, when elrufai is done with the urban renewal project I assure you that it will be in the leagues of only Abuja and Lagos mark my words, try me and we will move to investment next.

Nairalandmonika:Please read further Investment announcements tracked by the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) dropped by $10.09 to $5.06 billion in the first half of 2020, compared with the $15.15 billion investments recorded in the first half of 2019, translating to 67 per cent decline. In the report released at the weekend, NIPC stated that, “The decline is consistent with the expected downward pressure on investment flows given the negative global economic impact of COVID-19.” In the report, NIPC which tracked 34 projects across 16 states, FCT and the Niger Delta from January to June, 2020, listed the top investment destinations during the period as Kaduna State ($2.61bn), Lagos ($221m), Nasarawa ($56m), Ekiti ($50m) and Cross River ($15m). The United States of America was the most active source of investments during the period, with 43 per cent of the announcements. The other major sources were South Africa (31 per cent), domestic investors (16 per cent) and the United Kingdom (eight per cent). While the report may not contain exhaustive information on all investment announcements in Nigeria during the period, it however, gives a sense of investors’ interest in the Nigerian economy. “NIPC did not independently verify the authenticity of the investment announcements but is working on tracking the announcements to facilitate their progress to actual investments,” the commission revealed. Meanwhile, NIPC announced that negotiations with the leadership of the NIPC staff union on their industrial action had been concluded. A statement released by the commission’s Director, Strategic Communication Department, Mr. Emeka Offor, indicated that after extensive discussions with union officials over several days, two agreements were signed by all parties on Friday to end the week-long industrial action. |

Re: Bashir El-Rufai Condemns The Decay Of Infrastructure In Abia State by Nobody: 5:05pm On Aug 01, 2020 |
NGpatriot:This is exactly what I was trying to point out, when the likes of kaduna, ibadan, Kano , Lagos and port harcourt we're cities the south east was filled with bushes among those cities only lagos continued to progress because of bad governance, kaduna was once considered the Manchester of Nigeria due to the amount of industries in it, the problem was bad governance and lack of of maintenance, everything you see in kaduna today were done more than 30 years ago itwas originally a planned city by the British but thank GOD elrufai is restoring it's lost glory. |
