His church is in nigeria and the president has every right over his church. If he does not want the president of the state governor to have control over his church, he should start his church in heaven.

NB: i am not a muslim either
go and help the government to take over it now, the plan of your satanic government over Church will fail.

It has nothing to do with the President, We the Nigerian people have amended the Companies & Allied Matters Act, nothing primate or anyone can do about it, no one is above the law even if it is your own organization, as long as you operate in Nigeria, you will be regulated under Nigerian law, it has nothing to do with the President, or any Governor.

Are MUSLIMS ALSO PAYING TAXES TOO?
ProfAmaben:
All these fraudsters parading as men of God, how much did you invest in the church to claim it's yours?

Nigeria is a hypocritical nation. Small businesses pay their tax, civil servants and everyone pays their tax, but the church which is a money making entity doesn't want to pay it's own. What example are these religious bodies setting out?

You fly private jets, buy Rolls-Royce phantoms at the detriment of the nation but don't wanna pay a small percentage to the country that empowers you.

In Germany, any citizen that identifies as a Christian pays 89 Euros monthly, these monies enable the economy grow, why do we do things differently and expect excellent result in Nigeria?

Oyedepo has been restless since this CAMA issue and I hope president Buhari sets this initiative to the max.

Give onto Caesar what belongs to Caesar and to God what belongs to God.

God bless Nigeria.

If they use church funds for personal benefit, like going to purchase a PJ yet your congregation is hungry, you can be probed, those days of non accountability is gone.

That it is why it is good to read, the law never mentioned churches, or mosque specifically, it mentions religious institutions, charities, of which the church & mosque fall under, so there is no bias towards any religion whatsoever, even Harikrishna can be probed.

When there are more churches, than companies in a business district, it only calls for stricter regulation, church business is the fastest growing sector in Nigeria, and you can take that to the bank.

From the church of Jesus Christ to MY church/MY investment/MY sweet.... Yeye dey smell. Nigerian churches, see your life!

It is interesting however that when all these funny self-styled MoGs get to saner countries they behave and follow all laid down rules. And suddenly, the spiritual power they claim to possess that has been ineffectual in other countries will now be effective at destroying the perceived CAMA and 'enemies' of their business centers in Nigeria.

Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele has
categorically stated that nobody can take over his church in the wake of the recently amended Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA).

In an exclusive interview with Legit tv, the fiery preacher noted that he built the church with his sweat and labor of many years, therefore, nobody can dictate to him how to run the affairs of his denomination.

The Founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church also condemned Christian Association leaders for allowing themselves to be used by the government to promulgate such.

My brother, i am a born again Christian and when i looked critically at this CAMA law, i realized that it has more advantages to the Christian dom than the disadvantages.

Why is the CHURCH the only religious organization worried about this CAMA law?

Because most churches nowadays are personal business "MY CHURCH, MY INVESTMENT, MY PROPERTY".

This CAMA law will address so many issues like some church workers/pastors salary, some churches lay off/release their pastors when it time to pay them off. Since church is now a full time business, some pastors working for some churches should be entitled to retirement benefit.

It will also expose people who hide under church's money and church propertie s to acquire millions for themselves.

Your born again status is really questionable.. Pls go read that stuff again and this time carefully

So one synagogue in ikotun had issue of building collapsed sometimes ago....who did U guys called out?

Did U call the name of oyedepo?

Every organisation/church/motherless homes has a founder and the founder must be accountable to God and to Government if there is need.

A young pastor that started his calling from his room to his own church ...fully funded by personal prayers and personal friends...

One government will now come and say how do U spend your money... Heavenly bomb will scatter their hear and it will be generational.

UK/USA government probably support churches and can asked for our the money is spent BUT not the case in Nigeria.

Mumy people full nairaland...infact antichrist are many here..

Dont talk what you don't know.

Millions of people willing donate to churches and charity groups.

If any fraud occurs the law is there. EFCC is there.

I repeat many are willing to give money to the church.

Stop speaking from the point of pain and anger.

The government should not bring their radicals to the church out of envy recorded by the churches. Which they government have been seeking a way to restrain and up extremist law.

Yet the same government will budget billion to build mosques..

Don't need to be too ignorance there are very important matter to address not church matter.

This why I don't feel like contributing to a church that one day one man will be claiming it's his own blood and sweat that brought about it. I hope he doesn't change it back to our church during times of offerings and contributions.

Daft reasoning.....those xtians don't you have lawyers among you? You registered your BUSINESS CENTER(sic) under CAMA law and you are claiming govt did not POWER to regulate your activities? who kom be mumu.....

You are comparing yourself with muslims and mosques ,pls how many imams have private jets, large auditoriums, private schools and foreign coys?
more so if any mosque or imams started anything funny like that he will be subjected to same law as well

The meaning of the word 'church' in the bible means 'saved souls or saints. God has no interest in the physical building. When the trumpet sounds.. Will the church not be raptured or taken away while the physical building remain?

The assembly of the brethren happens in a physical location or any other form of location.... everything about the Church both physical and spiritual is provided by the LORD.....

Yhu want them to start controlling the affairs of the church when they haven't been able to even control their own affair effectively.

Maybe yhu should invite the government to come and be controlling yhu and yhur family. The government should tell yhu how yhu and yhur parents run the activities in yhur family since yhu and yhur parents are in Nigeria.

Big fool!

Such bile coming from a "Christian faithful".
