Have you checked the front page today? From time to time, we see news of notable individuals and familiar names getting married. The names certainly rings a bell and of course you remember the surname the bride and groom bares is that of a notable or rich individuals.

Then suddenly, it hits you, "I have to marry a notable business man or politicain's kid! ", " my husband has to be a popular person". You try to think how to marry notable people's children. You start scheming how to break free from the primordial circle of marrying within your class.

Don't get me wrong, you are popular of course on Nairaland I am also popular too. But in Rick Ross voice "there is levels to this".

Without boring you with the long talk, below is my opinion on how to marry the rich.

1. Send your kids to private schools the rich attends. This will help your kids socialize and mix with these kids and later in life have a reason to date and maybe subsequently couples ( even in the presence of perceived economic-class distance)

2. As an adult, make sure you frequent malls and clubs. Rich kids and clubs are like bread and butter. Let me tell you a little secret, people without money don't go to club. They see it as frivolous spending.
It's the same way I see it too because I can't be buying 500naira plastic coke at a club when the same liquid sells for 100naira at Mrs Kabir's shop. Oh! it comes with a thank you and it's super chilled.

3. Delve into music no matter how bad your voice is and untalented you are. This is perhaps the fastest way to link up with notable names in Nigeria. As a man, the less talented you are, the more attractive you are to those Malo girls

4. Location. Are you in Lagos? on the island or Main land or Banana Island ? Ask yourself that question. Are you in Bonny Islands or somewhere in Urumeruko (whatever that means). Are you in Abuja Asokoro or somewhere in Lugbe ? you sef reason am. you can't find fishes on the tree ofcourse except the dead ones.

Are you in Nigeria or Overseas? I'd suggest you move over there to ease you quest.

5. Chose your Church or mosque wisely. Be active, make sure you are seen, be tact, be calculative and understand the crowd you are in. It's the same method you pastors and imams use. The understand their gathering before choosing the message to talk about.
You too think if you'll see the kind of people you wanna hook up with in that church or mosque. If not, my guy move it's all about business.

5. Be a journalist better yet a photo journalist. You see Alexreports so ehen? Exactly, something like that. Women love pageantry and pictures. Better still you can pull of a "Dele Momodu" eventhough it takes a lot of time. Make sure you can edit a picture. Make sure you can edit a leaf to become a fruit.

6 Be a writer or strive to be a politicain. This point is coming last because it's the hardest
