According to Retired Army Colonel Hassan Stan-Labo, the political class paid hoodlums to hijack the peaceful protest but couldn't control it when it got out of hands. Times are hard, there is hunger everywhere, we must provide for the needs. The president's speech was an empty one, the speech writers failed to articulate on the situation, the military won't step in without order from above. I won't engage peaceful protesters with force, I would rather engage them in discussions, the protesters are peaceful, they include professionals from all levels. The government needs to set up machineries towards resolving the demands of the protesters and general Nigeria issues.
