The extent of desperation I've witnessed portrayed by many Christians regarding Donald Trump being reelected is really alarming.

The worst and most ridiculous part are the reasons they give for such apprehension, such as the coming of new world order, tribulations, 666, Antichrist and so on despite that such things have been long foretold in the Bible to take place in the last days.

So are they trying to prevent those prophecies from coming to pass?

It reminds me of a certain Peter that would cut off someone's ear to try to stop Jesus from dying and thereby fulfill the prophecy made concerning Him, hence Jesus saying to him:

"Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.
Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?
But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?" Matthew 26:52-54 (KJV)

So what Jesus said to Peter is what I want to ask such ones, "But how then shall the scripture be fulfilled" if there's no new world order, Antichrist, Mark of the beast (666), great tribulations etc.?

Perhaps that could explain why Trump had to lose the election, because the scriptures must be fulfilled!

Except they're not really prepared for the fulfillment of those scriptures despite that they know that these are the last days.

If Trump loses this election, it's because God didn't need him to win it, otherwise he would have won it.

It's high time people that claim to be of God started being on the same page with Him, and not driven merely by religious sentiments, otherwise they'd be walking amiss of the direction of God's plans as has been buttressed by this instance.

I also wanted Trump to win despite the fact that I was not very fond of him, because I believed he was a better candidate of the two due to some of his policies.

But it wasn't a do or die affair so when I got Word that he wouldn't win and things started to pan out that way I was told, I wasn't moved because I knew God plan was still very much on course and has not changed.

I mean Trump is just a human being for crying out loud. Maybe that was also something God wanted to prove to all those who put all their hopes in him.

I just hope that they'd learn from this outcome about how God works. And that God doesn't follow man, but it's man that ought to follow God.

Otherwise it would be a case of man walking on his own.

Why are Christians afraid? The Lord Jesus has told us these things must come to pass, but he'd be with us till the end of the world....

This is how they were afraid, when we were transitioning from 1999 into 2000

Afraid when we entered 2012

Afraid when Obama became president.

God has not given us the spirit of fear, we only hold onto God as the days draw near!

Jesus himself when he was to arrested said, "the scriptures must be fulfilled!"...
