As per the "unfriendly folks" aspect in Québec, were they all frowning their faces at you when you approached? Or were they all running away when you tried to talk to them? Please explain exactly what you mean by "unfriendly folks"?

BUSHHUNTER:
The way you people advertise Canada is so so overrated!! been to Quebec where everyone speaks French it's so fvcked up! language barriers, bad weather, quiet neighborhood... Mississauga, very expensive, unfriendly folks, strict laws etc.. they really need educated and skilled immigrants is that country!

Please quit the hype!!!! USA over Canada anytime any day!

U asked me this question& made this comment below:

"state the cost of data in canada...."

"which internet is affordable,, do you know how much for telecom bills..."

I was assuming that u have d information first hand hence ur boldness in challenging d viewpoints of others. Based on what u have googled, can u avail me that information & how does it compare to d rates in Nigeria?
i honestly think it's much easier to get the knowledge you seek on the internet than responding to my comment.

Help yourself out with the above link, also check out data plans for few network communications in Canada like fido, bells and compare with our networks..

All u saying is that u can't possibly defend what u were saying that data in Canada isn't affordable:

"which internet is affordable,, do you know how much for telecom bills..."

you can say whatever you wish its your business.. I said what I said. Data cost in Canada by a mile isn't cheaper than what we have in Nigeria.. . If you need to confirm the price difference in Telecom bills between Canada and Nigeria. Go to bells, fido website and check what they are offering and compare with glo and mtn.. I am definitely not going to be the one to create a spreadsheet and analyze the differences for you.

Still using ur own words:

"which internet is affordable,, do you know how much for telecom bills..."

D interpretation of d above is that Canadians can't afford to buy as much data as they want. U don't need to create a spreadsheet but if u saying data isn't "affordable" in Canada, then u have failed to tell me how u arrived at that conclusion. For whatever figures u are looking at, is it based on d standard of living of Canada or d standard of living of nigeria?

However you want to define affordability is left to you. citizens of both countries can afford data if not telecoms will be out of business. and there is no need for you to twist and turn the word affordability in this context. the cost/price was the bone of contention.(which of the two countries from price point is more affordable if looked into by a third party). if an outsider comes into both countries which of the two countries would he/she say is more affordable.

their will be no point engaging you further cos apparently we have different view of the word "affordability" in this context.

Once again, d point of reference are ur own words:

"which internet is affordable,, do you know how much for telecom bills..."

U are a victim of ur own words. Nobody is twisting anything & there's no discrepancy as to what affordability means. How u came to d conclusion that data isn't affordable in Canada by residents of Canada is what am interested in. So Oga, shed some light. For whatever figures u are looking at, is it based on d standard of living of Canada or d standard of living of nigeria?
