Please my ps4 console goes off by itself whenever I am using it with my medium size Sumec gen. It doesn't behave that way if being used with normal conventional electricity. The generator current is normal and i have had instances where the game works fine with it but they are few and far between. Any ideas as to what might be the cause please.?

You're right he should get a bigger Geni recon a key starter sumec firman.

That's if he loves his console though.

Those gen when they high they low like drug addict he should drop them.

Does the P.S.4 goes off too when you use it on your commercial power line ? If No, then it may be your generator set. Maybe it is not giving out enough power that can carry all the load you gave it. But if yes, the issue maybe the console. And in that case, you take it to a video game technician.

Ps3 and 4 shut off to protect themselves, some customers would call, the game tripped off and isn't coming back on at locations where they travelled to, dealers or repairman would say, remove it, dont plug it again if you dont want to lose ur console, days later, console arrives at dealer, he fumbles for like 20 mins, charges 7k,game works..
In the real sense, the console tripped off to protect itself feom nonsense power, it should work back in like 30 mins to 1 hr

My ps5 did same thing 5 mins ago.... I hope it comes on

It doesn't go off with normal PHCN light. I will just stop using it with the generator to avoid stories that touch the heart. I was using the console with thesame generator previously before I serviced the gen, reason I felt the problem was from the console. Thanks for the input

Although I use mine with 800va solar (no problems so far) you'll have to check your power suplly or better still take it to a technician to open it up and check the inside well could be dust or maybe your ps4 fan is malfunctioning, you might never know

It should. This pop up comes up whenever I put the console back on i when power is ceased while the console is in use (ps4 though) ,so I guess same applies too in your case
