It just exists in the manuscripts written by the original authors, what would be your argument about what God wants and how He wants us to worship him? I have read almost every one of the texts I could lay my hands on and while they are mostly good reads, I don't believe they add or remove from the foundation of what is contained in much of scripture as far as God and the things of God are concerned.

Maccabees reads like a good historical. It reminded me somewhat of the days of David and Saul. But I fail to see how anyone can take any "gospel" from that when there were no actual places in there where God actually spoke to the people in all that.
