I know ppl in my family that have been given millions of naira to start business but instead gave it as a seed to pastor or used the money to buy clothes. Yeah. Some of these people, before they give you money, they do incantation on it and when they give out these monies, they become useless for you. I know someone whose brother established a company for him, after two years, the company folded. I asked him to question his brother if he could tell him the truth of what he did before he gave him the money.

Exactly. Want to do something commendable, family should be your biggest fan, but you just want money to flex?? How now?? Seems to me that most Nigerians just want to live the fab life without working for it; rather than being content, working and growing (of course, with support from people but most importantly God)..

That been said, some relatives and Family members do not like to disturb the wealthy among them.

I have a friend that have been called so many times by a very rich uncle (Among the 10 richest men in Naija) to manage one of his companies but my man keep turning it down. He has a genuinely excuse in because his path is far different from what people are expecting.

His path is already becoming clear and I hope in few years we might just have a Physics Nobel price winner from Nigeria.

Same Bible also stated that "he who does not work should not eat". Give to those who are ready to work.

Some rich family members are stingy, the same uncle I told about my plans of traveling out for my Ph.D. baba discourage me by saying no need to travel giving unnecessary reasons, he doesn't have money. This same man travels to the US twice a year to do nothing just to retain his green card and sent his wife to the US to give birth to all his kids.

Some rich folks just want you to be at their beck and call, my brother go hustle forget them.

But a little correction to what she said, some rich men prefer to help u with small small money than teach u d way, once u tell them to teach u d way or help u start up something, wahala don dey. Some want to be the richest in their family.
