If it's the same parastatal, pick the one in Abuja. If you want growth, pick Abuja. If you want comfort and affordable lifestyle, pick Abeokuta. Abuja is the headquarters of most Federal MDAs. So, if you're in the HQ, you have first hand access to opportunities, promotions and benefits before those in the state and regional offices. However, if you want rest of mind where you leave home by 7.30 am and get to work by 7.45am, pick Abeokuta. You get to live a cool life, buy a plot in Kobape, Ogere extension, Obantoko, Alamala, or Obada oko and build an unpainted bungalow, drive a Camry and wait for retirement. I would advise Abeokuta for the cost of living is relatively low compared to Abuja as they say Sha. But Abuja would be better to get more connections and step up on higher ladder. I would pick Abeokuta without thinking twice. . why would I leave a good and comfortable life in abeokuta to a life in Abuja where you struggle to meet the high standards already set there. . Salary increment is even certain in both cases since it's a federal job. . Give me a job of even 60k with increment in view, I'll leave Lagos and never return. . The abandoned house where I stay in VI in weekdays is full of graduates who survive on carton and mosquito nets from Monday to Friday. 23 Likes 2 Shares |

if you know you don't want to be kidnapped. choose Abeokuta. if you know you don't want bomb to kill you in the park. choose Abeokuta. if you know you don't want unknown gunmen to stop you on the road. choose Abeokuta. if you know you don't want to give your parents and family heart attack or high blood pressure. choose Abeokuta. and finally. if you know you want to live long. choose Abeokuta. only those who still breath gets paid.
