Menstrual cycle refer to the cycle in which a woman uterus grows and shade lining, which could support the development of the fertilised egg, the average cycle is 28 days long, however a cycle can range in length from 21 to about 35 days,
I had to bring this discussion on this forum, to elaborate more, because I discovered that most women don't know their menstrual cycle, I was discussion with some of my friends regarding menstrual cycle, most of them thought I was referring to the days they are experiencing their menstrual flow, some told me 3days, 4days, other 5days, I was dumbfounded , I had to start explaining what menstrual cycle is all about, then I discovered that most can't tell their menstrual cycle, some told me it comes every ending of the month, which is funny, because it doesn't have to be ending of the month, there are some that their menstrual cycle comes every 24days, does that mean you will be seeing your period on every 24th of every month, , no, for instance, Stella sees her period on the 24th of July, then her next menstrual flow will fall on the 17th or 18th of June, because her cycle is 24days, I had to give my friends an assignment to do, I told them to observe their menstrual cycle for 3months to know their menstrual cycle, I gave them 3months because the first month might not be accurate, because menstrual cycle changes due to stress, drugs, feeding habits etc, the reason why I came up with this, is for most ladies to be aware of their menstrual cycle and to prevent us from being disgrace in public, due to clothes been stained with menses without knowing, and some ladies can't give a specific date on their last menstrual flow, but once you know your menstrual cycle, you will be able to predict your next flow, and you will be prepared, before it comes, you won't be running helter-skelter looking for pad or tampon,
