Oh really? I heard they also know how to arrest their former corrupt presidents instead of building statues in their honour and naming major roads after them. FYI, Zuma doesn't have a single statue in Zululand wink

Is South Africa in the continent of Africa? I'm surprised that a former president is charged to Court for corrupt practices.

LMFAO, Nigerians have scary vices of their own; human trafficking, kidnapping, terrorism etc. Please stop being a comedian cheesy grin. And wasn't it Nigerians that were looting onions recently while protesting against fulani herdsmen? grin grin. And didn't Nigerians loot fellow Nigerian businesses not so long ago hiding behind the fight against xenophobia in South Africa? grin grin.

Admittedly, Nigerians have their vices. However, I was making reference to protest and loot. If you put the stats of protest that have happened in Nigeria/South Africa and the attendant loots, you will realize that South Africa is miles ahead in the continent.

Year in, year out, SA people protest against foreigners in your country. While it is okay to have protests, SA people always seize the opportunity to loot foreigners' shops.

As regards the Fulani situation you mentioned, yes, people looted their onions in retaliation. The same thing played out at Shoprite because it's wrongly believed here that the South African retail chain is owned by SA business people.

But why should SA people loot ordinary people's shops because a corrupt Jacob Zuma is facing trials for his misconduct? That doesn't make sense. That's why Nigerians always argue that they are just lazy and there's sense in that. This is no hate; this is an observation.

LMFAO, every thing has a start ,clearly Nigerians are learning this bad vice as well, you better curb it now before it engulfs you grin, the same way cult wars have become a norm in some of your communities wink.

And don't forget that the uncivilized security forces of Nigeria plays a big part in deterring such occurrences wink,we all know that Buhari would have opened live bullets on these looters if it were in Nigeria ,and Nigerian criminals know this.

Apologies if I misunderstood you, thought you were one of the hypocrites here who like pointing out other people's problems while ignoring theirs . You're correct that in SA there's almost always looting when there are protests ,because criminal elements will always join the protesters and take advantage of those who are vulnerable ( immigrants most especially). But you guys should also realise that this sort of thing didn't start when immigrants arrived here ,look at apartheid era protests you will see that this has long eaten up on our society ( politicised hence no end to it). Now what I dont get is why intending immigrants dont know this ,don't they research the sicknesses & strengths of their to- be host countries ? Do you think a sane SA would go & open a business in Ikorodu surrounded by poor and struggling locals, wont he be an easy target of the sickness of kidnappings that have become a norm in Naija ?. There's a reason why the likes of Dangote don't put their businesses in volatile areas, but go to industrial sites that are well protected by both the local work force and state. Same thing with SA busineses over there .

With that being said ,this protest is very clearly targeted at elite people and politicians, that's why almost all the businesses looted are in malls and plazas; follow it up . The main targets are Ramaphosa backers and sponsors, migrants are simple collateral damage( targeted by criminals taking advantage of the situation) .... they know they are vulnerable and have no papers and therefore it will be hard for them to call for help from the police who have their hands full with the collapse of big businesses.

As for the Fulani situation, well SA too have always maintained that they're retaliating against criminal elements like Drug dealers, unregistered busineses, human traffickers etc . Does that make it right? .

And lastly, Nigerians don't call looters and criminals lazy, they call all South Africans lazy grin, that includes the same SAns who are taxpayers ( responsible for the infrastructure that they so love here ). And looking at the state of Nigeria, they're the last people to call us lazy.....my opinion wink.

He has many ,add to that ; people who hate Ramaphosa and his allies ( not necessarily fans of Zuma). ..... that's why the country is shaking. Many elements will also take advantage; criminals, poor and unemployed youth , people who were also victims of the corrupt judiciary etc grin grin.

Lol,but the law must apply to everyone who is guilty of the same offence not certain individuals of society otherwise it will look like the whole matter get k leg grin grin... and that's what is causing the unrest. If they are rested him for corruption ( proven in court) very few people would care.

When Nigerians fought for them against apartheid where we South Africans then? Better say Smtn else. I didn’t say the law shouldn’t be respected bt u also respect ur foundation fathers. The crimes he committed are not worse than what was committed by the apartheid regime. What did South Africans do to those who enslaved them? Nothing probably rewarded them with some government contracts and control. Who knows.

Here’s a man who fought to liberate u treated and spoken down on like a common criminal? When ure not a bastard. undecided
