Wow! Checkmate! We never missed an episode then. We used to watch together as a family.

So many emotions running through me right now as I watched the YouTube vid.

This program used to hold mum and then-favourite cousin, Adaego spellbound every week (I believe it used to run every Wednesday or Thursday night, if I'm not mistaken).

They are both late now, which heightened my sadness.

Wondering how they'd have reacted if I showed them this video.

Wow, i was narrating this series to my wife and kids last sunday while watching Ego Boyo and RMD on Mr X Family drama.
Remembered how Segun Kadiri would always rub the side of his nose with his index finger,his coarse voice and very mean attitude.
Bobmanuel was very young then!

Segun Kadiri lied a lot and he would do that whenever he was up to some trickery.

That fryover part did it for me. One vivid scene that also stuck with me was when the son was initiated. Really great show. I loved RMD's character the most; his sinister laughter was off-the-hook. I was in Pry 4 when it aired, so I did not really understand the plot. I, however, did enoy how the actors/actresses interpreted their roles.

Some other soaps I loved are Palace, Family Circle, and Everyday People. Funny how things always seem better in the past.
