lexy2014: I think at this point we need to face reality! US government after 20 years couldn't defeat the Taliban, the BH crisis is over 10 years old in West Africa. Does the fact the US Govt couldn't defeat the Taliban in 20 years and Nigeria, Cameroon, Niger and Chad couldn't defeat BH since mean they are not doing anything? Nigeria govt is combating the bandits does not mean we have solved the problem! Govt is confronting these killers everyday. However, the "reward" of being bandits is just too great that it attracts new recruits as soon as the old ones were sent to meet their maker. Govt has not deployed 10% of the firearms being used in the North against bandits and BH against IPOB in the South East. No need to lie about that |

onumadu:Intersociety, you have remained consistent in your provision of information on Human right abuse in Nigeria especially south east of nigeria. However I will still say that alot lot more still needs to be achieved in South East. Regarding the failures of leadership and the alternative advocacy you have been providing to cover up and protect the masses there, you can do more by helping to establish more NGOs and CSOs in the south east to assist you. Let there be enough of these organisations to support development and create awareness on governance through workshops and seminars. |
