BKayy: Aboh is a mixed town and so is the whole of Ndokwa land both Igbo and Isoko live there, in Aboh town there are different divisions or quarters for different ethnic groups other the years different people came and set up base in Aboh but it was ultimately an Igbo area so to assimilate the Isoko immigrants had to make their names Igbo and even celebrate Igbo festivals held in Aboh. 10 Likes 1 Share |

SlayerForever:LOL. You guys did not discern what Bkayy is doing here. He is just paying back... If this were the Ijaw guys here or other landgrabbing fellas, there are so many things they would do with this. Just like them claiming Ndoki in Abia state. But the truth is that most of the Igbos here are just in search for the truth and correct the wrongs that have been left unattended to for years. You guys are not here for confusion but clarity. However, these other guys are not playing by the same rule. So, Bkayy is just playing a game. LOL. 4 Likes |

Efewestern: I will rather think the "oko" root word is from the ancient proto-kwa language. (Ok)urin is man in Yoruba. Oke/Oko is male in Igbo. Even Idoma has a similar word (I think something like Oklo) for male. These languages are all related and from a single source. It has very little with one group influencing the other. 3 Likes 1 Share |
